This is now the SECOND time my belongings have been damaged while using this company, and it is completely unacceptable. My items were only in storage for about 4–5 months, yet I discovered damage and contamination involving rodent droppings and rat poison. I was so disgusted and upset that I immediately removed all of my belongings and vacated the unit. What makes this even worse is that this is not the first time this has happened with Extra Space Storage. No customer should have to worry about their personal belongings being destroyed or exposed to serious health hazards while paying for storage. I would strongly recommend taking photos of EVERYTHING before storing your items here and thinking carefully before trusting this facility with valuables or personal belongings.
