We’re building a pool and eventually need outdoor furniture, but today was supposed to be a harmless window shopping trip. Then I made the mistake of sitting on a patio set I actually liked. I was still determined to leave empty-handed… until Thomas appeared out of nowhere like the Patron Saint of Patio Furniture. Thomas casually mentioned that the set was marked down. Then he showed us additional savings. Then somehow we were doing math. Then somehow we were applying for a credit card. Then somehow a complete backyard furniture set was ours. I honestly don’t know what happened between “We’re just looking” and “We’ll take it,” but Thomas deserves at least some of the blame. If Thomas hadn’t stopped by to say hello, we would’ve walked out with our wallets intact and zero furniture. Instead, we walked out with an amazing deal, a beautiful new backyard setup, and a great conversation with Thomas.
