  Absolutely worst store. Never order from them. They keep on delaying my order of a dishwasher, saying that it is still in process with no updates from them. They won't let you cancel without a restocking fee and wouldn't provide any update or estimate by when the dishwasher will be ready. It has been absolutely frustrating to work with them. I've been on the line with them for 3+hrs with different agents and the store would just drop the call whenever they don't have an answer for them.

  I placed an online order for four Kohler bathroom sinks and picked them up at the store. After opening two of the boxes in the store, I immediately realized the quality of the items was poor. The glaze had obvious pinholes (small dots), indicating poor manufacturing or inadequate quality control. Based on Lowe’s online return policy for this item, I decided to return the sinks immediately. However, the store manager informed me that I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee because the sinks were considered a “special order.” According to Lowe’s website, a special-order item is one that is customized or configured specifically for the customer, which is clearly not the case here. The store manager refused to waive the restocking fee. Every customer has the right to know what fees they may be charged when returning an item. Such fees should not be left to the discretion of an individual store manager. If I had known there would be a 20% restocking fee, I would have purchased the sinks elsewhere. This is an undisclosed 20% restocking fee on a standard, non-customized item, and customers are not informed of this fee when placing the order. Simply because an item is shipped directly from a vendor does not make it a customized or special-order product. I have returned vendor-shipped items to Lowe’s in the past without being charged a restocking fee. If Lowe’s considers all vendor-shipped items to be special orders, then that should be clearly disclosed during the ordering process. I contacted Lowe’s Customer Care and opened a case regarding this issue. This is not a store I intend to shop at again, and I am seriously considering canceling my Lowe’s credit card and taking my business elsewhere.

  Rude and unhelpful associate in the appliance division. Will never go back to this store. We were shopping for a dryer after our dryer suddenly stopped working. We were trying to decide between two options and wanted quotes for both. We had waited to speak to the only associate for over 20 minutes after he had been chatting with the same customer that whole time; finally when it was our turn, first he claimed he needed a SKU even though we gave him the brand, model and color. The he complained about how late we were (this was 8:30 and he had to only leave at 9). Honestly the quote for a dryer should not even take more than 5 minutes as there are not that many variables. Then he claimed that since we were asking for two quotes (we were upfront with him about this and it was not new information) we are not 'serious buyers' and refused to generate a quote as he had other customers he still had to attend to. Never shopping from Lowes again after this experience.

  Although I had a bad experience with receiving the wrong item on an online order, I was impressed at the professionalism of the staff at Sunnyvale Lowe’s. Jane went out of their way to get me a refund and exchange for the correct item. Thank you

  Title: Beyond 5 Stars – A Disneyland for Makers and Home Improvers! If I could give this Lowe’s location 10 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Walking into this store feels less like running an errand and more like stepping into a toy store or a Disneyland for home improvement. It is the kind of place where you can easily get completely immersed for hours, inspired by everything on the shelves. What truly sets this location apart, however, isn’t just the massive inventory—it’s the incredible team. Every single person you meet radiates warmth and genuine friendliness. The level of expertise here is unmatched. You can ask about the most obscure item, and the team will pinpoint the exact shelf or drawer you need without a second thought. A few specific rockstars deserve a massive shoutout: Ano: (Featured in my picture!) An absolute delight to interact with. I haven't managed to get a photo with everyone yet, but hopefully, I can join the whole gang for a group picture someday! Jane: Possesses a truly stellar attitude. She is exactly the kind of warm, welcoming person you want greeting and facing customers. Richard: Amazingly knowledgeable. I’ve definitely put his patience to the test with my endless stream of questions, yet he handled them effortlessly—sharing his expertise with me while simultaneously and gracefully assisting other customers. There are so many other names I didn't catch, but make no mistake: every single employee here is an absolute gem. They have built an incredible workplace culture, and I have no doubt they will keep this standard of excellence going forever. Thank you, Lowe’s, for turning an ordinary shopping trip into an exceptional experience. Wishing the whole team the absolute best in everything they do!
