A bird died right in front of my eyes today. I was in the store for literally 5 minutes when I watched a dove crash directly into the window and fall right in front of me while I was walking toward the indoor plants. I was shocked and honestly pretty distraught. It completely ruined my day. I let two associates know what happened. I understand that cleaning up a dead bird isn’t necessarily their job. I ended up moving the bird outside myself because I didn’t want it left on the floor. Considering there are multiple birds inside and large windows throughout the store, you’d think there would be some sort of measure in place to prevent this from happening. Apparently, bird-safe windows aren’t on the shopping list. Hopefully Lowe’s considers doing something about this because watching an animal die in front of you is not exactly the indoor-plant-shopping experience anyone is looking for. Very unfortunate

This was one of the worst customer-service experiences I’ve ever had at Lowe’s. The store appeared to be severely understaffed, and I had to wait more than 10 minutes just to get assistance. It was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend this location.

We bought an entire kitchen suite of appliances, Bosch 800 series, on July 5th. We were told we would have the merchandise probably within a week, orders came in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so might be a little more than a week if it comes in on Thursday.
It is now July 30th and we still do not have our merchandise.
I can't even list all the lies and untruths that we were given over the past month.
They have an entire system built on no one taking responsibility. Everybody blames everybody else. You never speak with the same person twice. The second time you call they're always out.
Finally told us it would be on Tuesday the 28th of July and then the night before we get an email saying it's pushed to the 30th, today 8:00 to 12 am window and it's now 2:15 and we don't have our merchandise and nobody can tell us when we will get it.
I will never do business with these people again.

Unacceptable Customer Service – Infested Plants Caused $2,000 in Property Damage
We are extremely disappointed with the management and customer service at the Santa Clarita Lowe's. On May 8th, we purchased 35 Camellia flowering shrubs totaling $902. Unfortunately, these plants arrived infested with an invasive pest.
Because the infestation initially went unnoticed, these beetles quickly spread from the newly delivered camellias directly onto our mature, established eucalyptus trees. We had to hire professional pest control to treat our trees and prevent them from being severely damaged, costing us an unexpected $2,000 out of pocket.
We have physically gone into the Santa Clarita store twice to resolve this. Both times (on June 9th and June 13th), we spoke directly with store management about submitting a claim for the property damage caused by their vendor's infested stock. Both times, management promised us that a claim would be submitted and that we would be contacted within 48 hours. It has been well past that window, and nobody has reached out. Our claim has been completely ignored by the store's leadership.
It is entirely unacceptable to sell infested nursery stock that causes thousands of dollars in property damage, and it is even worse for store management to ignore customers trying to resolve the issue through proper channels. We expect a prompt response from store management to resolve this matter and reimburse our damages.
