My experience with the San Francisco location was very very disappointing. I first checked out the showroom and I loved what I saw and then the next day I called to make an appointment. Got an appointment relatively quick. Arrived on time to the apartment, the gentleman who I was supposed to meet with ended up handing over my appointment to someone else, that was fine. The new person asked what am I looking for, I told him I was helping out my parents (who are kinda on the older side of life) pick out materials for a small bathroom they’re going to update. The gentleman took notes, was polite, had a good sense of humor, I thought this was going well. I mentioned there was a vanity in the showroom I was curious about and he’d look into for me, great! Before I left, I gave him all of my contact info and the contractor my family will be working with. This all sounds great, right? I receive an email a few days later only on the vanity, letting me know that the vanity is eleven thousand dollars!!!! Is the wood blessed by magical monks? I politely declined and said let’s just focus on the bathroom fixtures. NEVER GOT A REPLY BACK!!!! I found that rude to leave a client hanging, was this employee not interested in continuing this exchange because I wasn’t interested in the eleven thousand dollar vanity? Or did my zip code not fit the “norm” of the kind customers/clients you prefer? I’ll never know.

Lots of anti-homeless signs in the windows. This is despite the fact that the business is basically in a warehouse with no foot traffic. And I’m pretty sure they don’t own the public space… It’s not cool to prioritize keeping people away from their warehouse vs. other people having a place to sleep.

I wanted so badly to like this experience. I decided to buy local rather than Amazon and my plumber recommended Fergusons. I spent some time at the showroom and decided to spend more money to go with all brass and discussed that I specifically wanted to limit hassle and have high quality. Unfortunately the faucet from Newport Brass was a lemon and my plumber spent 2 hours of labor installing, taking it out, trouble shooting, re installing new one, taking in and out the other stuff. They sent a new one that is functioning but the worst part is that I have been trying for 2 weeks for Ferguson's to have Newport Brass pay for the plumber or discount the product by that cost. I have called and emailed about 7 times. Today yet again I was promised by Shantee, a call back from the supervisor Tonya,-- I just called and they are closed. No call back. No call back last week either. I have paid the plumber. I think I will go Amazon next time. I will never shop here again.

Really they couldn’t find a better name? Confusing.
