I had a very disappointing experience at Lowe’s due to the lack of customer service. I walked around looking for assistance, but there were no associates available to help. When I did find employees, they either ignored me, seemed uninterested, or did not make an effort to assist.
As a customer, I expect basic support when I’m trying to find products or get answers, especially in a large store where locating items can be difficult. The lack of attention and helpfulness made my shopping experience frustrating and left a poor impression.
I hope management addresses this issue by improving associate availability, training, and customer support so future customers have a better experience.

I had a frustrating experience with carpet department.
We ordered carpet, paid for it. It was supposed to be delivered in 2 weeks.
Then we received notification that it will be delivered in 4 weeks instead (today, June 29), and rescheduled all work with our contractor.
Our contractor went to pick it up today. He was told that the date for the cerpet to be made is shifted to July 1-3, and then it would arrive to the store for pickup around July 6.
This messed up our renovation schedule, as well as work plan for our contractor who made the trip.
No compensation (or even apology!) was offered by Lowes.
I guess this is the "normal" practice.
I do not recommend relying on Lowes for plannign your renovation work.

Unfortunately, one star is the lowest Lowe's could get. I went to the store on June 5th at around 3:45 pm to return an item that we haven't used and no need to keep it. Item was never used by the way. There were two terminals open with 2 employees on each computer. There was a third one un used. I had to wait in line and I was the first to be helped. After waiting for over 15 minutes, another employee came in and she went to the third terminal that was not occupied. I thought she is going to help me! However, what happened is that she looked at me and it was clear that I was getting more frustrated because of the wait and the fact that any of the 4 employees could have helped me! She gave me that fake smile and said will be right with you and thank you for your patience and she left her terminal without helping me!!
Five minutes later, one of the other two terminals was done with the customer being helped. As soon as the 2 emplpyees finished with that customer, they left their terminal as well with no help being offered to me!! I lost my patience of course!!!
After finishing my horrible transaction and walking out of the store, the employee who showed up to the third terminal and walked away without helping me was smiling that yellow smile and while she was laughing she said to me with a tone meant to cause me more annoyance, she said have a good day!!
Not sure if that was some sort of racism or what exactly. All I am sure of is that all of this was intentionally done and I see it difficult to be anything rather than racism!!
For my second time in less than two weeks, I had very horrible experience at Lowe's.
We are in the middle of doing a big project fixing the house and so far the dollar amount spent at Lowe's in the last few months exceeds $7000. More money was expected to be spent there as we are not done yet. But sorry Lowe's, I am switching to Home Depot where I never had such bad treatment!!
By the way, I tried to call the store and speak to a manager about my issue before submitting my feedback and no one answered!!!

Lowe's Blows!
I called ahead to confirm that my curbside order would be ready for pickup on the same day. The employee told me, "Yep, it's all picked and ready to go." Great. I told them I'd be there in 20 mins.
When I arrived and called for pickup, I was told, "Oh, your order isn't picked yet. Let me get started on that - give me 10 mins" At that point, I was already annoyed that my time had been wasted.
After waiting around for 30 minutes, I finally went inside to see what was going on. That's when another employee told me, "Oh, he only started picking it about 5 min ago."
So not only was I given completely inaccurate information over the phone, but nobody seemed to have any idea what was actually happening with my order. I ended up canceling it altogether.
This store is a joke. I'll gladly spend my money at local hardware stores, ACE, or even Home Depot before dealing with this level of incompetence again. I don't know if all Lowe's locations operate like this, but this one is terrible.
