I came into the La-Z-Boy showroom in Mission Valley with a general idea that I wanted to get a recliner. Online there are a number of varieties and options of recliners to choose from, which can make the process of selecting the right fit challenging. Going to the showroom and talking with Ruben (Sales Associate) and actually sitting on the different models made a huge difference in ultimately deciding on the model that worked best for me. I highly recommend going into the showroom to "test drive" the recliners before making your purchase. Good luck

I've had a La-Z-Boy recliner for over 30 years. When it became time for a replacement, of course I went there first.
I was greeted promptly, shown several models, sat in a few, discussed prices, ordered one. It will be ready to deliver in a few weeks. Just in time for me to move into my new home.
When we contacted the store, we were told custom orders could only be addressed within 1–2 days after delivery and that the couch simply needed to “break in.” From there, we were bounced between the store, Comfort Care, and the service department with nobody taking ownership or providing real help.
Multiple service appointments were scheduled and then repeatedly rescheduled, sometimes at the last minute. After weeks of waiting, the technician finally arrived nearly FOUR HOURS EARLY from the confirmed appointment time, barely inspected the loveseat, took no measurements or photos, acknowledged the squeaking, promised a “favorable report,” and said we’d hear back within 24–48 hours.
We never heard back.
A follow-up message was later left for the store manager, and once again there was absolutely no response. At this point, it feels like the strategy is simply to ignore customers until they give up.
The product quality is disappointing, but the customer service is even worse. My mother-in-law spent a significant amount of money on furniture she hoped would help her relax comfortably despite her back pain, and instead she has been stuck with a defective loveseat and months of unnecessary stress.
Now we are left pursuing BBB complaints, credit card disputes, and public reviews just to get basic attention from this company.
Avoid La-Z-Boy if you expect quality furniture, accountability, or customer support that actually follows through!!!
****Feet do NOT touch the floor. Videos of it Squeaking every time you sit done.

My husband, Jeff and I had the most enjoyable experience when we visited the Mission Valley Lazyboy Store in San Diego. Alyssa, was incredibly helpful in our overwhelming task of selecting the right recliner. She listened to what we wanted and was patient in explaining everything….. When we had more questions she answered or found the answers, right then and there. There was no pressure. We knew we needed help and we got it. We found the perfect recliner for us! Thanks, Alyssa!

I have always wanted a a recliner! Was right by the Lazy-Boy in Mission Valley and decided to have a look, after all they are the Grandfather of what I was looking for! There was a wonderful sale happening and the adventure began. I was greeted warmly by the associate , Gil(?) and he was very patient and helpful and informative. The sales manager chimed in with even more information on the chair I did pick out and the young lady at the register area was just as informed, it was a fun and attentive group. They did their job and now I have my dream recliner! Great experience, thanks to all of them, so go and check them out when you need some new furniture and terrific service!
