Tech Alex did an excellent job! From texting when he'd approximately arrive to notifying he'd be approaching my front door and then asking me of any issues I'd like taken care of during the visit, he exceeded my expectations. He also serviced my garage and took care of cobwebs under my patio table, chairs and umbrella. I truly appreciate the pictures provided too. Thank you Alex!

I had insects in my backyard, biting our legs called aptive out to spray and they kept giving Give me the runaround then I had an appointment for Friday because they didn’t understand English when I call they end up pushing my appointment back further, so actually, I will be canceling my service with them next week. I would not recommend them to anyone they just don’t care.

I have finally broken down dealing with endless pest (mainly ants) inside my house and Aptive came and spoke very frankly and truthfully (I think) about their service. They came in afternoon while I was out running errands and they did their jobs with photos backing up of their work. Well.. other than seeing couple ants in my room on Sunday afternoon, we have been (knocked on wood) ants free. Definitely need to ask if possible to spread the solution around trash bin and compost bin since lots pests in that area. Hopefully I will be home for their next visit to see their good work in person.

I had a very concerning experience with an Aptive door-to-door salesperson, Matthew Serey.
Matthew came to my home, explained the service, and sent me a link to enter my payment information. I was specifically told that the service agreement would then be emailed to either me or my wife for us to review and sign.
That never happened.
Neither my wife nor I received the agreement to sign. I later obtained a completed DocuSign agreement and discovered that it already contained electronic initials and a signature in my wife's name, even though neither of us signed or initialed the agreement or authorized anyone else to do so.
The customer email address entered on the agreement was also not ours. It was an entirely different email address and, notably, the last name in that email matched Matthew's last name. The agreement itself identifies Matthew Serey as the Aptive representative.
I contacted Aptive customer service and asked for the DocuSign audit trail or Certificate of Completion so I could determine how the agreement was executed, but I was told they were unable to provide it.
My wife ultimately called Aptive and was able to get the contract cancelled, so the immediate issue has been resolved. However, I still have no explanation for how a completed agreement containing my wife's electronic signature was created when neither of us actually signed it.
I cannot comment on the quality of Aptive's pest-control service because we cancelled before service began. This review is specifically about the sales and contracting process.
Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that anyone dealing with an Aptive door-to-door salesperson carefully review any agreement associated with their account and verify that the contact information, pricing, terms, initials, and signatures are actually theirs before allowing service to begin.

After they failed to show up to the initial appointment and had trouble rescheduling the initial service, I communicated with them clearly that I no longer wanted the service and was cancelling the initial appointment and the service plan. I have not received any of the services but have received texts for services that have not been rendered and noticed they’ve been charging my account. For the last few months. And the number for Luke that we initially communicated on has not responded to texts or voicemails. Anyone know how I can cancel the charges, and get reimbursed for the services I never received?

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
