I really like this particular Extra Space Storage on Bercut. I've stored here for a year. The temperature control and access to the facility are my main priorities. Elevator access is only for the floor the unit is located, which makes me feel my belongings are more secure.
Tony (the manager) has been helpful to me most recently. I was having an issue and had to call and leave a voice message. He promptly returned my call and was professional and courteous throughout our conversation and was able to resolve my issue fairly quickly.
Customer service in general at this location has been A+. Worth noting, they have carts on the ground level available if one needs to use them. Also good communication via mail, text, email. I use the app to pay my bill. Super easy to use/navigate. All in all, Tony and all the staff I've interacted with have been friendly. Makes my glad I chose this location.
p.s. Booking online is the way to go as there are deals that differ from in store. Everything was ready for me when I showed up. The process was smooth/easy. I highly recommend renting a space here. For the curious, my unit is one of the smallest. 5x4 or 5x5 and fits my needs perfectly.

My husband & I came to sign up for a storage and Kimberly Butterfield was EXTREMELY helpful. She was welcoming and greeted us nicely as soon as we entered the building. She helped us with tours of the storage units and she was just super informative with everything. The customer service, friendly service from her was top tier. We look forward to being long term customers while she’s here!!

Some very good things: first, staff here has been consistently excellent - helpful, responsive, courteous and personable. They deserve a shout out cause they deal with a lot!
My unit was clean, well lit and climate controlled - cool in summer, warm in winter.
The not so good things are the price, which doubled after three months. I probably wouldn’t have been in such a hurry to vacate but for the rental cost.
The exit door was inoperative for several months so we had to punch the code on the outside entrance to get out, and if there were a lot of vehicles in the parking bay it could be difficult to get out. That’s fixed now but IMHO it took months too long. One of the elevators was also out of commission for some time. It is working now, however.
It is located amid a hot spot of homeless activity. I never had any problems, but it’s worth mentioning so you know what to expect going in.
