Justin did a great job today. It is wonderful to have a personable informed technician service my house and yard. I appreciate the pictures showing me all the areas he took the initiative and worked on. I have had 3 different technicians visit, and each of them has been top notch. Thanks!

We are very pleased with Aptive’s service thus far. Our first experience’s results were beneficial. We did not need to call them for 2 months. Regarding our second experience: Someone came out and sprayed at the scheduled time. He walked to an area we thought the ants were coming in… sprayed around the perimeter of the house… Thank you for your promptness and courtesy.

BOTH Jackson (salesman) & Ezequiel (his side-kick exterminator) were SO FRIENDLY, FUNNY & KNOWLEDGEABLE!! Did you know? FIRST- we were taught by our Mom's & Grandmas (1970’s-1990’s) that “cockroaches live ONLY in the Valley, AND in dirty homes THERE” - yet, there have been these BIG beetles, that LOOK like cockroaches, but yet, they are difficult to kill by just STEPPING on them, you have to STOMP & GRIND to kill’m, just like cockroaches. Guess we were lying to ourselves? It was ONE thing when we found them OUTSIDE about 2 years ago, but, last year, they started finding their way INSIDE of our home! 🤮!! It is so bad now, our teenage grandkids are ‘afraid’ to stay the night anymore- 😭, and they always ask to stay 2-3 nights a week. I had JUST told my husband “enough is enough! I know we are on a small fixed income, but, them feeling safe is important to US, and I am so OVER the bugs IN our home- CALL someone!” then, it was 2 days later, Jackson knocked on our door, showing us pictures, asking us WHICH bugs we have seen, being 100% up-front with us, explaining WHAT they can do, the timeframe, and even the cost. We were shocked to find out, they ARE cockroaches! We were even more relieved when we figured out, we could afford their services!!
Well, Jackson told us WHY we are seeing so many bugs, and, even the people across from us, in their big newly built homes (5-10 yrs) are seeing them and it is because California does NOT spray the gutter systems anymore, which INCLUDES the one across the street from our house 🙄. Jackson explained they are getting INTO our home, because not one home is SEALED to keep critters out- and, we added, especially our home built in 1955, is NOT sealed from maybe even a dinosaur-sized bug and his ant-army😬.
We are OVER THE MOON! Even the older grands, are anrguing over which one gets to stay FIRST next week! Our *Bug-Guys* have helped us ALREADY! They were here June 26th, sprayed that day, and today is July 4th (HAPPY 250th INDEPENDENCE DAY!) - we have not seen ONE critter INSIDE of our home! We have seen a couple under my thornless blackberry pots, but, we are MOVING them further away, and he can spray around their bases, bc we are going to ‘lift’ them- those bugs can run, but they can NOT hide from *Super Ezequiel, our Bug-Spraying Guy*!!🦸🏾♂️
And, a GIANT *THANK YOU!!* to Jackson- for helping us to know, it is NOT US, it was the BUGS, and the people that drove them into our home- we think State of California should let this company spray the gutter systems with their ECO-friendly recipe!!

Our service technician, Justice was the best. He was professional and courteous. He was very attentive to the areas of our home that needed treatment, and he went above and beyond to sweep away the spider webs. He took the time to answer our questions and also provided helpful information on things to help keep outdoor pests at a minimal. We are very satisfied with the level of service he provided and will request Justice again as our service technician.

Genuinely impressed with Aptive from start to finish. Jessica came out for the initial consultation and was fantastic personable, knowledgeable, and made my daughter and me feel comfortable immediately. She wasn't pushy, just genuinely great to talk to, and she took the time to actually connect with us rather than just running through a sales pitch.
Today, the technician texted 30 minutes ahead to give me a heads up before arriving, which I really appreciated. He treated the entire outside of the house, including the eaves, was thorough, and left me a detailed report with photos of everything he did..
As a single dad, I don't take it lightly when someone makes both me and my daughter feel at ease. Between Jessica's approach and the technician's thoroughness today, I'm confident in this company and looking forward to continued service. Highly recommend.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
