- JFJohn FrancisApr 1, 20261.0Went in to purchase blades for a mower, over double price than a competitor, ($56.00 opposed to $28.00) I politely declined, then was told thanks for supporting his business as I left. Felt insulted by not giving them my hard earned money. Especially since I purchased my mower from them for over $2000.00 a few years back. Do better next time, its Stihl from here on out.

I Just needed to purchase some small maintenance parts (fuel filter, purge bulb, fuel lines, carb gasket and air filter) for a Husqvarna weed whacker. I know without a doubt all these items cannot be more than $30. At checkout I was charged $73 for these parts. I continued to question and ask why it was so expensive, the cashier immediately got defensive and said “I will take them back then”, I continued to say, “I am not saying I won’t buy it I just know these are not worth $73”. The cashier then got angry and grabbed the items out of my hand and said he will not sell them to me at all. I was then refused service. Please consider this if you are thinking about shopping at Stroups. I do not tell you my opinion, I just share facts.
