I recently visited Lowe’s to purchase netting to protect my plants and fruit trees from birds and other animals. I asked an associate where I could find the netting, and he simply pointed toward an aisle and said, “It’s on aisle 3.” Almost immediately afterward, another customer asked him for assistance, and he personally walked that customer directly to the product they were looking for. As I headed toward aisle 3, I watched them walk right past the exact item I needed. It left me feeling like my request wasn’t important enough to deserve the same level of customer service.
Later, while checking out at the self-checkout, I realized I had forgotten to apply my military discount before completing my purchase. When I asked the self-checkout associate for help, I was told I would have to return everything and repurchase it myself if I wanted the discount. I felt like there was little interest in helping resolve what should have been a simple issue, and I was directed to customer service.
Thankfully, my experience improved at customer service. The representative there was friendly, professional, and quickly resolved the issue without making me feel like I was an inconvenience. I sincerely appreciate the excellent service I received from that employee.
As a veteran, I appreciate that Lowe’s offers a military discount, and I also appreciate employees who genuinely care about helping customers. My hope is that all associates provide the same level of courtesy and assistance, regardless of who is asking for help. A small effort—such as walking a customer to the correct aisle or taking a moment to assist with a checkout issue—can make a significant difference in the overall shopping experience.

Tried to buy a stove today at 7pm it was on clearance for about $450. The sales associate would not sale it to me because it was on the sales floor and they can only sale a clearance item in the clearance section. Told them id buy it right now and take it but still was told no. Imagine that you go to a store to buy something that they have in stock and they tell you no? Must be holding it for somebody thats the only thing that makes sense. They said so it didnt make holes in on the sale floor but there was other missing place items so that was not true at all. Definatly only going to show at homedepot now.

My husband and I bought thousands of dollars worth of appliances 3 weeks ago and we still have not received everything we paid for. The appliances were damaged and the manager/staff are useless and not competent. Multiple calls have been made to Lows and the staff and management team lie to their customers and they have hung up the phone multiple times when trying to find a solution, to the point we found out Lows never put our order information to the deliver tired party services Lows uses. As a customer we had to keep calling Lows and the delivery company tired party because they do not communicate with each other. After all of this we still don’t have all our appliances and installation but Lows made sure to take our money and to charge the full payment. They will also find hidden ways to charge you extra even though you already paid for everything the first time but due to damages that there done from Lows/ delivery we had to return the appliances but Lows will charge you double on top of what you already pains for in the original payment. We also had all the documents and receipts and paperwork to show proof but they still were not able to get the concept that was clearly written on the paperwork. They definitely do not care about their customers or the inconvenience they put the customers in. Worst service we have ever received and we will never be purchasing from here again. They don’t even deserve 1 start review if I could put something lower I would have.
