I would like to share some honest feedback regarding my experience when I first entered the store. I believe the associate’s name was Stevie. Unfortunately, my interaction or lack thereof with him was disappointing and left a very poor first impression. When I walked into the store, I said hello as I passed him, but he did not acknowledge me. He appeared to be focused on his phone while drinking his coffee. I did notice another associate in the store, but she was already assisting another customer, so I completely understood that she was unavailable at that moment. Because of that, I naturally looked to Stevie for assistance. When I approached him with a question, I had to essentially interrupt what he was doing to get his attention and get him to put his phone down. His demeanor made me feel as though I was inconveniencing him by asking for a moment of his time. After answering my question, he immediately went right back to his phone, which reinforced the impression that assisting me was something he wanted to get over with rather than an opportunity to help a customer. As a customer, that interaction made me feel as though I simply wasn't worth his time. In a retail environment, the first impression is incredibly important, and I was surprised that a customer walking into the store was not greeted or acknowledged and then seemed to be treated as an interruption when I attempted to ask a question. I own my own business, and I would be extremely embarrassed if a client walked into my establishment and was treated this way. Regardless of how busy an employee may be, putting a phone down, setting aside a coffee, making eye contact, and taking a moment to genuinely acknowledge and assist a customer should be a basic expectation in a customer facing position. I would strongly encourage the management team to reinforce with all associates especially this Stevie “gentleman” the importance of professionalism, appropriate customer interaction, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Appearance and presentation also matter in a retail setting, and employees should understand that how they dress, conduct themselves, and interact with customers reflects directly on the business and its management. What makes this particularly unfortunate is that this interaction potentially cost the store much more than one customer. I had been considering working with your business for several of my clients and was hoping to establish an ongoing relationship. Instead, the initial experience made me question whether this was a business I could confidently recommend to others. I hope management takes this feedback constructively, because there is clearly an opportunity to improve the customer experience. A business can have excellent products and services, but if customers do not feel welcomed, respected, and valued from the moment they walk through the door, it can ultimately result in lost business, not just from one customer, but from the additional customers and referrals that customer may have brought with them.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Crystal. Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help were truly above and beyond anything I have experienced before. Crystal was incredibly thorough, attentive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She took the time to make sure every question was answered and every detail was addressed, while making the entire experience feel effortless. Her professionalism and commitment to providing exceptional service were evident from the very moment I walked in the store. Crystal is an incredible and genuinely valuable associate, and I sincerely hope her dedication and thoroughness are recognized. People like her are what make an experience stand out, and her level of service deserves to be acknowledged and appreciated. I will absolutely be working with Crystal again in the future, and I would recommend her without hesitation to my family, friends, and anyone who may need assistance. In fact, I would tell them that if they need anything, Crystal is the only point of contact they will need from here on out. Thank you, Crystal, for making such a lasting impression and for setting a standard of professionalism and customer service that is truly exceptional. You are an invaluable asset, and your efforts are greatly appreciated.
