- JWJeannette Weeks4 days ago1.0To Customer Care, I am writing to share my deep disappointment regarding a recent visit to your Northridge location on 5/15/26. I have been a loyal Lowe’s customer for years, specifically because your service typically outshines Home Depot. Employees like Iris have built a fantastic relationship with us and always supports our DIY projects. However, a recent return experience was unacceptable due to a manager's unprofessional behavior. While we waited at the return desk, when the cashier was on the phone with a customer, the manager ignored us despite making eye contact multiple times. She actively avoided helping or asking some other employee to help us. When my husband approached her and another employee, she ignored him until he explicitly asked for help, then the other employee offered to help but also displayed a terrible attitude. This manager's rude behavior has severely damaged the excellent reputation this store previously held with us. I hope corporate addresses this leadership failure so the hard work of employees like Iris isn't ruined.

This Lowe’s is a solid stop for tools, hardware, plants, paint, cleaning stuff, and all the random things you realize you need halfway through a project. The store is big, so it can take a minute to find what you’re looking for, but the selection is good and parking is usually manageable. Like most big hardware stores, getting help can depend on how busy it is, but overall it’s a useful location and one I’d come back to when I need project supplies.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
