Customer service sucks with dealing with issues . Went online to order the product then came to the store to pick up the unit. Big label that says fragile and it was clearly ignored . I showed the worker and he said it should still be fine , when came time to install the unit, I opened the box to clearly see it was bent. ( Already drained the water heater and disconnected it .)Talk to customer service about the inconvenience no help at all went into the store to return. The unit had trouble processing the whole return. No discount know anything terrible customer service. Refuse to use Lowe’s anymore.

I had a very unfortunate experience at the Menifee Lowe's location regarding my order.
I specifically selected curbside pickup because my husband who is a disabled vet had just undergone surgery from injuries sustained while serving and is under strict lifting restrictions. We were on our way to our construction site, where my workers were available to unload the materials. The only assistance we needed from Lowe's employees was to load the materials into our truck.
Your lowes employees manager Nathan and worker Jose loaded the materials into our Chevy Silverado HD 2500, which is a full-size heavy-duty truck. After loading everything, one of them stated, "Your tailgate is not going to shut," and walked away. They also ignored his ask for further assistance. Rather than taking a few extra moments to help reposition the materials so the tailgate could close properly, they left us to figure it out ourselves.
I went back inside to speak with the manager, Nathan, not because I was looking for an apology or compensation, but because I wanted to offer some advice after your employees' incompetence resulted in my husband reinjuring himself.
Had your employees taken just a few minutes to help reposition the materials, my husband would never have felt compelled to lift a heavy tailgate immediately after surgery. While trying to reposition the load and close the tailgate, he accidentally unlatched it. The weight of the tailgate forced him to lift it back into place, despite his recent surgery. This caused my husband significant pain and potentially compromising his recovery. My daughter and I ultimately had to rearrange the materials ourselves so we could safely close the tailgate, something your employees should have helped us do before sending us on our way.
This wasn't just poor customer service. It was a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic human decency. I sincerely hope this serves as a learning opportunity for your staff. I hope Lowe's takes this incident seriously by reviewing the actions of the employees involved, providing additional customer service training, and ensuring that no other customer is put in a similar situation. Customers should not be left with an unsafe load, especially after specifically requesting curbside assistance due to a medical limitation.
