I have lupus so I wasn’t able to check on my unit. I found a decomposed rat in my unit. The whole place seems more rat than storage. I was there for about two hours and felt like I was in solitary confinement hearing the rats constantly in the building. After 10 washes and soaking in laundry sanitizer my stuff finally doesn’t smell like rat corpse. The moment you enter that storage wear a p95. I had two on and the off gassing penetrated both masks. Thankfully Hantavirus isn’t in Los Angeles.
Oh also I asked the janitor to clean it up and he did a terrible job. He was telling me it stinks like yeah no shit that means you didn’t clean up the mess all the way.
