Robert, The Aptive technician who serviced our property did a great job of spraying for insects and de-webbing under the roofline eves and along our backyard fence. He talked to me prior to servicing our front & back yards. I shared with him that we been continually invaded by ants all Summer long. I showed him the liquid ant traps I had to put inside of my house because they weren’t effective in keeping the ants out this year as they have been in years past.

Reps seem to have a problem understanding boundaries and consent.
Representative came to our door selling services, which is fine. I respect the hustle. However, he wouldn't listen to me when I told him 3 times "thank you, we're not interested." The second time he said "it seems like I touched a nerve, maybe you've had a bad experience with pest control in the past?" The third time he said "I guess you like spiders then?"
My dude, you're an uninvited guest on our property. Immature and rude.
He also lied to my face and told me my next door neighbor "Meg" used their services. There's no "Meg" that lives next door. Straight up dishonest.
Aptive seems to train their reps to never let the conversation end without a sale, at any cost, and it just came off as cold reading, rude, and super weird. Had never heard of Aptive before but I now have a solidly bad impression of the company.

I’m giving Aptive five stars because of my most recent experience. It’s a pretty long read, but deserves to be shared.
When I first started service Aptive in March 2026, my experience was pretty mediocre. I repeatedly told the technicians that I had a serious ant problem, but after each service, it didn’t seem like much had changed. I would still see ants everywhere - as if my home had never been treated at all. Over time, I honestly started wondering if anything was actually working.
Then came my most recent service August 2026.
Two technicians, Jabari & Anze showed up at my home. I’m not sure if one of them was training, but both of them were awesome! I wasn’t home at the time, so I spoke with them briefly through my doorbell camera. Once again, I explained that I was having problems with ants and spiders. They told me not to worry and that they would take care of it.
I had already placed ant bait throughout my backyard because that’s where I was seeing the most activity. After they finished treating my home, I received a text from the technicians. They told me they had found several ant trails throughout my backyard and had treated every trail they found.
That was the moment I thought, “Okay, let’s see what happens.”
Well, as of today, I haven’t seen a single ant in my backyard. Not one - it’s crazy unbelievable! I’m also no longer seeing insects crawling around on my deck or along my pavers.
I’m not sure if Jabari and Anze just did an incredible job, or if the treatment simply needed some time to work. Either way, the results speak for themselves.
After having several mediocre experiences with Aptive, Jabari and Anze completely changed my perspective! They listened to my concerns, took the time to actually look for the source of the problem, and followed through.
So, I have to give credit where credit is due. Jabari and Anze did an awesome job, and because of them, I’m finally seeing the results I’ve been hoping for.
Five stars well deserved!

Harry was the person who sold us our pest control plan. Camie was the tech who completed the first application; there was another tech with her, but she was the one which I spoke with. They took a walk around the home, yard and outbuilding and heard my concerns. The weds were cleaned from under the house eves and around exterior lighting. I waited a week before I completed the survey. I see no returning spiders under the eaves, and the yellowjacket nest have not reappeared. They set a rodent bait box by the outbuilding and I’ve seen no sign of written activity around the house.
After the first application, I am satisfied with the service provided, and the carrying attitude of Camie to make sure that the problems I noted were addressed.

Active representative came to my house offering their services, decided to take a chance on them and boy am I glad I did. Cami came to my house on the scheduled date and time. She took care of spraying the outside perimeter and windows of my house, she also de-webbed and threw out flea and tick repellent all over to keep them away from my doggo. The neighbors asked me about what I thought about active and now I think my entire neighborhood is under aptive's care lol.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
