Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

A great place to get your materials and tools for any uild projects. This store is not as busy as the others so it's a nice shopping experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. No snooty people for sure. I just wished they would carry Ryob products but they do have Klein tools instead. 👍Just watch out for Lincoln Hill senior residents on golf carts. They generally own the roads and seem to forget rules. 😁

Wife ordered a new washing machine to be installed. Delivery guys we great installed without any problems. Then the water started leaking. We called and we were told a repair man would be by the next day to assess the issue. We expressed that we either needed it to be fixed or a new one delivered the next day as laundry was already piled up and we are no where near a laundromat. The lady i talked to said she was placing the order for the new one just in case and either way we would be set. Well first it wasnt a repair man who came it was the installer (my wife had requested that it not be the same person who installed) he looked and determined it was a flaw with the machine and would let the store know. I called at 11am and was told i needed to talk to Liz the manager for appliances she was on break and would be back around 12. I called back at 1pm and was told she would be back at 2. I explained that I was told we would be receiving a new washer if it wasnt fixed. She then hung up on me. I called back again and asked to talk to the store manager. Then I talked to the manager he said that the best the could do was deliver the next day. I explained i spent close to 3hrs total on hold and the customer service we received was terrible. I asked how they were going to make it right he said he would refund $100 to make it right. That still hasn't happened and I will never do business with Lowe's again

Daniel in the lumber section was absolutely awesome. Answered all of my questions and was incredibly quick to help.
I'm deducting 2 stars for the automated phone system. It can't answer questions with the required nuance and takes forever to get a human. It also sounds like it is advertising when answering questions... Incredibly poor experience and I hope corporate gets their head on straight and moves away from this garbage.

I was in looking for a dog door to install in a slider door for a client. It just so happened that the description of an item I had purchased was wrong on the lowe's website which led me to a purchase which I had to return. So on my return to find the correct item, I was reaching peak frustration with the labeling on the products. At that moment a helpful older gentleman in the door department came and asked to help. Since I had tracked down the model number of my needed dog door panel, he researched it in the system and found that in fact it was only available online. In the end, I did purchase from another source because of a great price difference, but i'm grateful for the confirmation that I was not in fact crazy for thinking the products were labeled wrong. I'm a twice a day lowe's shopper/ contractor.
