- KAKarina Avila2 days ago1.0I was shopping with my husband. He had to use the restroom and asked an employee named Emma for the code. She rudely gave him the code. As soon as he finished using the restroom he walked back to where I was at and she quickly followed him. She stood around the corner and he’s starts telling me what’s going on. She over hears us and try’s to act like if she didn’t just follow him. I left my cart with my belongings and proceeded to leave. She followed us all the way to the front of the store. From my perception I believe she acted this way because he is a tall black man and she probably assumed he was going to steal. We are here every week and this is the treatment he received.

She did let another man in who forgot his wallet in his car though. We all understand that you have to close at the correct time for all the employees sake but as a manager customer service should be a skill they are well versed in.
- LLLeilaMay 28, 20263.0This store has a great, affordable selection of arts and crafts—like resin, charms, and beads—especially compared to prices at Michaels. However, I’m leaving 3 stars due to the incredibly rude behavior of the employees I encountered on my first day of ever coming to this store and this exact location. As an infrequent visitor, I needed some help and direction. I asked a stocking employee where to find rhinestones. Without even looking up from her task, she just smacked her gum and dryly muttered, “In jewelry, a couple aisles down” while not even looking at me or acknowledging me. Her attitude was incredibly dismissive. Hoping for a better interaction, I asked a second employee the same question. She was just as unwelcoming, didn't look at me, and flatly said, "On the other side." When I followed up to ask if the rhinestones were suitable for gluing onto purses, she looked at me with pure annoyance and gave a sarcastic, "Yeah?" as if I was stupid for asking. For a company that prides itself on Christian values, the customer service here was appalling. Employees shouldn't treat customers like an inconvenience for asking basic questions they clearly don’t know the answer to and just want help. This location drastically needs staff who know how to properly interact with people and make them feel welcome. I hope there are kinder employees at this location, but unfortunately, my polite approach was met with nothing but negativity. I didn’t catch their names, but one of them was a POC and the other was some girl with glasses and a bun. I treated them with the upmost respect I could, but the way that they gave their approach back to me was very unprofessional.
