The spaces are clean, the security is extra, ( like Fort Knox),which is good but does get a little tiresome having to do the codes so many times. Brad who helped me out was very informative and flexible with my move in, and got me the unit I wanted. Their prices are reasonable.

This facility is well kept, clean, and air conditioned. Brad was very informative and a pleasure to chat with. My only disappointment is that rates increase frequently, sometimes doubling from your prior rate. Though, this is a public storage norm and my best option is to shop around for better rates whenever rates are drastically increased.

I moved from an extra space storage just down the street because the prices got jacked up. This place is new so they have cheap prices to lure you in. Takes a six digit code that you don't get to choose to go in the gate. It takes a six digit code to go in the door every time you go in the door. It takes a six digit code again to get on the elevator every time you take the elevator. It takes a six digit code every time you exit. It's ridiculous. I'm running a 5x10 and I'm lucky if it's four and a half by inside.. that kind of sums it up. It isn't what you get out of the deal or what you want. It's how they want to run the place it takes them five feet by 10 ft to give you a 4-ft place they'll charge you for 5 ft. They want to secure they make life hell every time you want to go in and out.
Re: Your response. Thank you for responding. I have said what I have to say. I don't need to hear excuses, apologies or rationale. You now know what the situation is. You can do something about it or not. It is up to you. It is how you want to run your business. How customers view it and respond to it, is up to us. I just know this is NOT user friendly - or necessary.
7-11. I recently got the notice that my rent was doubling. I used to sign up for a one-year lease at a constant rate. Now the Geniuses at extra space only give 3 month leases. And my rate doubled after 3 months. That's a bait and switch. If you want to know what's wrong with California just look at how extra space is run. They think they've got you and so they keep on jacking up the rates. They open the borders so they have cheap labor and then they have extra security so I have to enter a code four times in order to get through the gate get into the building use the elevator and get out the gate again. So let's beef up our security but we want the cheap labor. And we've got a captive audience. And we'll drive out the competition. And by the way my 5 foot by 10-ft unit inside measures 4 ft by just over 9 ft. So they charge me for the space it takes them I'm glad they don't charge me for the aisles or the bathroom. Not for the space that I use and so it's almost 40% more space they're charging me for then I actually get to use. So again if you want to know what's wrong with extra space storage and you want to know what's wrong with California it's people that are just looking out for themselves short-term screw the customers screw the citizens We're Here for a profit will lie to you yet we'll check up your rates we won't let you sign long-term leases. Welcome to the neighborhood extra space it's used to be a nice place. But not anymore. We need more Spencer Pratts. They can rig the system but we can speak up.
