  Altamont Appliance Repair was awesome. Maurice (the owner) made a great first impression — super friendly, got us scheduled quickly, and communication was top notch. Loved the tracking feature so you know exactly when he’s on the way. He fixed our Whirlpool freezer issue, was very knowledgeable and thorough, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was working perfectly. Great at what he does and just a genuinely nice guy. Highly recommend.

  Maurice is a stand-up guy. Very ethical and honest. He is knowledgable and went above and beyond to make recommendations about how we should care for our appliances and home. He follows through on what he says he will do. Thank you!

  The door sensor on our Whirlpool microwave was giving us intermediate problems for a while. One day it seemingly stopped working and I had to find someone to come out to service it. I called Altamont Appliance and spoke with the owner Maurice directly. I explained the problem and sent him a few pictures. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a confident estimate. He also accommodated our scheduling limitations and arrived promptly when he said he’d be there. It turned out it wasn’t a bad sensor but a misaligned one. He realigned the sensor quickly and gave us some good advice on how to prevent the issue from happening in the future. I would highly recommend Altamont Appliance to anyone looking for an honest, local appliance repair professional.
