- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. - JWJoseph WolfeMay 3, 20261.00,lowe,s in hemet ca just lost a life long customer forever their paint department management lied to us twice and their store management lied to us about ,about a as is items .they both told me to bring the item back they would take it back on the phone , the paint dept told me it could be returned when i bought it ,but when i went back to the store to return it ,they showed me a policy ,online that said no a little late .home depot is are new place to shop. for home needs ,lesson learned always read the small print,they are rip off artist.besides there hiring of vets which is the only good thing ,they do,they also donate money to left wing causes that tells we the people every thing we have to know.and its not stated on your store receipt you have too look it up online ,deceiving tactics too rip you off,
- BWbrian wooApr 22, 20261.0When I bought dishwasher, they said nothing about the nasty surprise I got when installer gave me regarding FGCI power outlet upgrade. They asked for $275 (Pacific Express Installations and Services). An upgrade like this, a fair price would be $150. They set up a perfect ambush (and it amounts to scam). What's funny is that the first person who got my complaint told me that installer cannot charge me directly without Lowes' knowing it. But second person changed the narrative, saying that they can on power outlet upgrade. Well I told them upfront it was for power outlet upgrade
