Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling.
Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they
are deep in the middle of this.
Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc.
As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction.
-An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
Timeline:
-Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty.
-Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install.
-An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed".
-Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one.
-So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty.
-$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile.
-I will not go into other damage issues here.

My significant other and I went to Lowes for the first time to buy a brand new electric lawn mower. We had such good costumer experience that we even open up a credit card with them (plot twist: we won't be using that credit again). Once we got home, the battery of the lawn mower was missing. We called the store to see what can be done, but all they said was that we needed to return it and only had 48 hours to do so. We ask to speak to a manager since that time limit was a bit of a challenge for us. The manager, Ricardo, was not only unhelpful, he was straight up rude. Listen, I understand that there is a policy in place but it's very disappointing that we had to drive a hour back to Lowes, with a heavy item such as lawn mower, with a limited time all because Lowes sold us an incomplete item. With that said, be careful if you are to buy a lawn mower from Lowes. I would even suggest opening it up in the parking lot to make sure you get ALL the pieces that you are purchasing from them. I know that suggestion sounds a little ridiculous but its better to do that then to deal with the consequences of Lowes inconsiderate policies and unhelpful managers.

Huge thank you to Marcos at Lowe’s in Gilroy! We came in right before closing not actually expecting to purchase anything last night, and he still took the time to help us without making us feel rushed. We ended up purchasing flooring ( saving us $1500 from where we originally were going to purchase it from) and the best part, with the help of JC, he even found and secured two major items I need for my office remodel that I was told were discontinued and impossible to get. Incredible customer service!
