Paulette and Devin are amazing! My husband and I are in the process of moving into a new home and we had some questions about fridges and artificial grass.
Paulette in the appliance section gave us an amazing experience. She was very knowledgeable about every appliance and made sure to only show us units that were within our budget. Her friendly attitude and confidence made us feel very comfortable with our final choice.
Devin in the carpet department was great as well. Our new home will only have dirt in the backyard so we’re thinking of doing artificial grass. Devin has amazing recommendations and was able to give us the rundown on the entire installation process start to finish. Every question we had, he was able to answer with ease. When it’s time to start the backyard project, we know who to go to.

I love Home improvement stores and we have lived in many places in the US. What is amazing, in some places Lowe’s shines and in other locations, Home Depot is the best. We are now in El Dorado Hills/Folsom and Home Depot has by far the best service over Lowe’s.
Today, my wife went to buy a washer and dryer set. Both Lowe’s and Home Depot had the set we wanted, but HD was $50 cheaper for the combined set. She went to Lowe’s because on line it said it could get it delivered tomorrow. What a mistake.
She was greeted by a woman at Lowe’s who did not realize my wife was the customer. First, the lady said “it is 4:02, the cutoff for tomorrow’s delivery is 4:00. Sorry”. She did not offer to make a call or anything. Second, HD had a price $50 lower for both the W&D. We asked her to match the price. She said that is not the way we price it. My wife asked to talked to the manager, and she said, “I have worked here for 7 years and I know what she is going to say, so no”. Wow.
My wife left and had the completely opposite experience at Home Depot. We got the lower price and the sales person called and was able to move up the deliver to the next day. She was outstanding.
So due to a rude sales person in the appliance department, Lowe’s lost a $2000 sale over $50 and thousands of additional lost sales since I will be shopping at HD exclusively in Folsom.
Someone needs to remind this sales woman who is the customer.

We are redoing our entire house starting with the guest bathroom and laundry room. We went into Lowe’s today and asked about opening an account and what our best option would be since we were going to be spending a lot of money. Santiago was very helpful took us over to the pro team desk where we got our card and all our information we needed, and then he was very helpful on the floor walked around with us, giving us advice and pointing us in the right direction for all the things we needed. Once we got up to the pro desk again for our checkout, Michael was extremely helpful as well he did everything he could getting us as much discounts as he can setting up our delivery the whole team there was great. We will definitely be coming back when we are doing the other rooms at our house.
