As with anything, stuff is expensive. Given the service, monthly fee seems reasonable to not have to regularly research/purchase required chemicals, store said chemicals if left over, stay on top of shelf life if any, purchase/store sprayer, long pole to reach eaves and anything else needed to maintain said equipment and my time to prepare and spray/clean as needed, especially when it's toasty outside. Not for everyone, I get it but works for me atm.

I can not begin to express how happy, satisfied and relieved we are of making
The decision to get serviced by this amazing company. We have struggled to find a good decent and honest pest control company and I have to say after struggling for nearly 2 years we are beyond glad to have chosen this company. We just received our first service and already we see a huge difference. It is amazing To finally have control of all the pests that come about, especially with the heat, And we can’t believe after one service how exceptional and professional this company has been already. I am very thankful with Dominic and I am extremely happy. He found us. Thank you for the exceptional service we received your technician was amazing very attentive, professional and nice. He did an exceptional job and I will repeat again. There is already a huge difference. Thank you so so much and if you are really looking for an honest and effective Pest Control company, this is the one to choose, you will not regret it. I don’t know how to kill diesel. I want to read. This is the Pest Control company.

I was promised and pitched one thing and received little to basically no services. We were with this company in the beginning and it seems the service hasn't changed. Still promising one thing and not delivering on that. They came and sprayed outside which was fine, but we also requested treatment/ help with rodents. Our rep Stephen told us they'd lay traps outside to help prevent them getting in in the first place, that wasn't done. And to place some around inside and they only placed them at the attic entrance. Even though the service was discontinued, it really wasn't what we paid for. Disappointed again, and will not be renewing services the next time around. 👎

I have had this service for several months now and I’ve noticed that as time passes they are getting more and more careless with the service. Once, they claimed they showed up and completed a service when they didn’t. Now they have stopped checking in with me regarding my schedule and my availability as I like being home when the service is performed so they can get into places inside my home. Now they just send a message that they scheduled the service and it’s a day or 2 beforehand leaving me little time to arrange my schedule. At this last service they showed pictures of the members cleaning spiderwebs from the back of the house but a day afterwards I found several spider nests and old cobwebs all over the front door porch and around the window panes of the front windows of the house. I also continue to have a spider and flea problem in the backyard along with silverfish and mosquitoes. My husband and I are very busy working professionals and don’t have time or energy to follow up on work of “presumed professional services.” I am disappointed and quit frankly upset that I have to take time to write this damn review!

I’ve been a loyal customer with this company for a few years, and while the service was initially great, the quality has noticeably declined over the past year.
Recently, the work has gotten incredibly sloppy. For the first time since using them, I had to request a reservice because the initial job was done so poorly. The breaking point, however, occurred during their most recent visit when the technician broke the latch to my backyard gate.
The representative sent to assess the situation, Z’mali, was exceptionally unprofessional. He was 3.5 hours late to our appointment and didn't even reach out to inform me he was running late until 1.5 hours after our agreed-upon window had already passed. When he finally arrived, his service was terrible. Rather than taking accountability or offering a resolution for the damage, Z’mali immediately deflected blame, dismissed it as simple "wear and tear," and condescendingly lectured me instead of fixing the issue.

Is Aptive pest control safe?
Aptive’s goal is to provide customers with professional and effective pest control solutions that reduce the harmful effects of pests. What pests do you treat?
Aptive treats common pests like ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps, snails, flies, fleas, and ticks. Aptive otherwise does not treat any wood-destroying organisms such as termites, carpenter bees, or carpenter ants. Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
