  We are changing insurance companies and they demand to cut 2 huge oaks down to the roof level, so this was kind of a rush job. When I called Scott for a quote he picked up the phone on the second ring and came out the same day. We discussed different ways to get in the backyard, which doesn't have direct access from the street. On D day the crew came on time, brought in the high lift, and went for it. The big oaks were more than 90 feet tall and Ken started cutting from the top and lowered the branches with ropes in order not to hurt the septic tank and the leech field. Watching this team in action is amazing, like a special military operation, every move is planned and coordinated to avoid injuries or accidents. I could tell that they have been working together for a long time; that kind of rapport doesn't happen overnight. They were done by late afternoon and came back next morning to complete the final cleanup. We saved the heavy logs for firewood, chopped to size, and the smaller limbs were turned into wood chips using their portable chipper. Next time I hear someone complain that Americans don't want to work hard I'll tell him to watch the McMillan crew going into battle Monday morning. Thank You Scott, John and Ken, and the entire crew.   My disabled father inlaw's house had three (3) trees touching and overhanging the house along with a valuable antique car collection and an out of service pool/hot tub below the trees. I called serveral outfits. Scott McMillan was one down the list. He answered and he clearly could understand the project. He described his high reach Spyder man lift which can pass narrow openings and can also reach far to the side. He ran down the credentials of his company and his team. These guys stood out and were hired for the project. Originally I wanted to remove two (2) of the trees. Scott gave me the option of saving one (1) of them when onsite and reduced his price to do so. Very admirable! We did exactly as Scott recommended. Absolutely TOP NOTCH Team, Very RESPECTFUL, Very SAFETY Consensous for them and the structures/items around them, and the PRICE WAS EXCELLENT! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

  Scott and his McMillan Tree Services Team have assisted me with tree management, inspections and removals at my Magalia property. Scott is extremely responsive to questions and inquiries for services, does a quality job and clean up! It's awesome to have such a wonderful tree service in our community!
