Avoid Lowes entirely unless you want a frustrating, time-wasting experience. Behind the decent local store, their infrastructure for support and basic website purchase process is among the worst.

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE SERVICE: I was a pro rewards contractor that used to go to lowes on a daily basis! I would park in pro parking because I was worried about theft in the parking lot because their security is trash! I had to park in the parking lot today because they decided to havr a bbq in the pro area! It could have been in a better spot thats for sure. I realy dont mind that the electrical department has no one in it 80 % of the time im in there. But it does take forever and a day to get help there. So while I was in the store someone cut the straps off my truck rack and stole pipe and two 10 foot sticks of deep strut. I was on the phone with the store to talk to a store representative and the phone rang for 15 minutes straight. How many employees are at that store that they never answer the phone! Anyways, canceled my credit with them and never returning to that store again. WATCH YOUR CARS

Purchased washer & dryer set online with delivery scheduled for just 4 days away. I thought that's great. At the end of that day, they sent a message saying there was a problem with the truck and rescheduled for 2 days later. They even sent a confirming text message saying "we are on our way. you are our last stop." They never called, texted or showed up. Next day I call and speak to a person with a thick foreign accent so Im assuming not local. He said the delivery truck could not navigate the streets to my house without damaging the truck because it was a full size rig. I told him that is ridiculous it is a paved county maintained road with adequate space for all other trucks to deliver without issue. We have a 40 foot motorhome here and can turn it around in the driveway. He said he would need to send a smaller truck, so I asked when it was coming and he had not even made the request yet!!! I had to call to get him to make the request for a smailler truck!@# then he said it will take 24 hours to process the truck request and he couldnt provide estimated delivery date. I asked to speak to supervisor and he said the hold wait time is 30 minutes minimum, and they cannot take my number to call me back. Then he put me on hold for 45 minutes because I wasnt hanging up until I had a delivery date estimate or at least know he put the order in. He then said it would be here in 2 days. We will see. I have doubts. I will never use Lowes to purchase anything online that requires them to deliver.

I generally like going to this location of Lowe's. It's a little bit of a step up from Home Depot. I am highly disappointed in the pro desk people. Specifically, the women who work there have no experience in construction, at least the two I have dealt They don't know where simple building supplies are, and you can tell they've never swung a hammer or worked on a construction site in their lifePlease try to find people at the pro desk who are actual professionals who have actually worked in the field and know what they are talking about. This is really disappointing considering the money people spend here; they expect people at the pro desk to be knowledgeable in basic construction.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
