  Tried to get a real person. Had to switch to Home Depot because Lowe's automated system really sucks.

  The worst place I did a curbside order after waiting 20 minutes I went In to find the ladies talking and not working and when I told them about my order they just handed to me the reason I did curbside is due to recent surgery

  I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received at Lowe’s this week. I came into the store expecting a normal shopping experience and needed assistance with something in the lighting department. Unfortunately, my interaction with the cashier Jahara was incredibly unpleasant and left me feeling disrespected as a customer. Before I approached her, I noticed that she was on her personal cell phone having what appeared to be a full conversation with someone. She had the phone up to her ear and was actively talking while she was supposed to be working. During the conversation, I also overheard her using language that I found inappropriate for a workplace, especially in an environment where customers are present. When I eventually approached her because I needed help with the lighting department, her attitude toward me was extremely rude and dismissive. I simply asked for assistance because I had not seen anyone working in that department. Instead of trying to help me or directing me to someone who could, she made me feel as though I was bothering her. She told me that lighting was not her area and that she knew nothing about it. I completely understand that a cashier may not be knowledgeable about every department in the store, but there is a significant difference between saying, "I'm not familiar with that department, but let me find someone who can help you," and making a customer feel like they are inconveniencing you by asking for assistance. Because she was unable to help me, I asked if I could speak with a manager. At that point, the situation became even more frustrating. Rather than getting someone to assist me or finding another employee who could help, I was told that the manager was on lunch and that I would have to wait approximately an hour. I found this response unacceptable. If a manager is unavailable, there should still be some type of customer-service process in place for assisting customers who have legitimate concerns or need help locating the appropriate employee. What bothered me most was not simply that she didn't know the answer to my question. I don't expect every employee to know everything about every department. What I do expect is basic courtesy, professionalism, and a willingness to assist a customer in finding the right person. Instead, I felt like I was being treated as an annoyance for asking a simple question. The entire interaction gave me the impression that my request was an inconvenience to her, while I had been patient and was simply trying to get assistance in the store. Seeing her engaged in a personal phone conversation immediately beforehand, followed by the dismissive attitude I received when I approached her, made the experience even more frustrating. I hope Lowe's management takes this complaint seriously and looks into what happened. Employees who interact directly with customers are representing the company, and customers should not be made to feel like they are bothering employees simply by asking for help. I would strongly encourage management to review the expectations regarding personal phone use while working, appropriate workplace language around customers, customer service, and how employees should respond when they don't know the answer to a customer's question. I am not writing this review because I expected special treatment. I am writing it because basic professionalism and courtesy should be expected when someone is working in a customer-facing position. I left this interaction feeling frustrated, dismissed, and genuinely disappointed with the level of service I received. I hope management follows up with the employee and uses this situation as an opportunity to reinforce appropriate customer-service expectations. Customers should be able to ask for assistance without being made to feel like they are an inconvenience.

  Wow, Lowes, you really let me down. After 22 years of buying from you, your installation team has lied to me and treated me too bad. Lied on Installation dates 3 times, no return calls. I know it is only a $1000 purchase, but you would think you would treat your customers better.

  Ordering and delivery is a fail with this store. The driver did not deliver all the items. Driver stated he saw the item on the counter and was not given the missing item. Upon delivery, I inquired about the order that was missing and we were both able to pull up my order to show that it should have been delivered. Driver says I need to call Lowes. I tried calling and was only able to interact with robots. I was finally able to speak with a human being who looked into my order and stated a manager will call me to set up delivery. I waited all day and no one called so I reached out again and this time was able to speak with Andres who processed the order again to have it delivered. He seemed short with me when I asked when the delivery will be which I think is an appropriate follow up question, especially since I already paid for the delivery service for same day. The long point here is that there is obviously an issue with their process from the person gathering the materials, to the person handing off the order to the driver, to the driver delivering the item. There were multiple opportunities to check the order and ensure that all materials are in the truck before making the delivery. Please do better. It's not hard when it is only 4 items total. This review is to encourage Lowe's to look into their process because I think their surveys may fall on deaf ears.
