- B0Blue Walker 0529Jun 22, 20261.0My drain plug assembly needed to be replaced and out of five estimates, Leslie’s required to send a tech out and wanted to charge me $150 just to see it . I said no . He looked anyway for a minute or two, told me it was basically my fault. (It’s two years old and I’ve never winterized it nor touched it in the two years we’ve owned it as it’s just a couple of years old. I read that the rings fail on them over time and that it’s a bad design prior to his visit. I also read that they can be replaced. So the tech said that I needed a whole new sand filter at a cost of near 3k , that he would never recommend fixing it. That I needed a whole new filter. The other four quotes/ techs I talked to said they can fix it . Tucson pool and spa sent a tech that replaced it under 1.5 hours for a little over $300 . I sent them photos prior. Ambiance pool said they could fix it for $262 as well. I went with Tucson pool and spa as they were very transparent and very close . Ambiance quoted the cheapest price and has good reviews, I just don’t know them that well, and the other quotes were higher I was concerned they underestimated or under quoted. After the job was completed, I believe they just gave me the cheapest price. I’m sure I will use their services in the future and I will return to Tucson pool and spa for sure.

Not only because they can't help everyone that comes in at the same time and they close for lunch or bathroom break but it's not safe for the workers! What kind of place is this??? Not a good one that's what!! I hope they go out of business with this out look.
