  Brian was very professional, polite and and completed the work in minutes. I then decided to change the lock, he agreed with my decision and ten minute later it was done.

  Damon from Mercury Lock and Key came out to my residence to rekey my front door electronic lock. I lost the original key and had no backups! Damon was on time, polite, and very helpful. He quickly rekeyed the lock as requested and helped me replace the lock batteries (which I had never done in all the time I had the lock). He also helped me secure another lock, work that had been on my to-do list for awhile. Great service from Damon and Mercury.

  Brian was very kind, prompt, and did a good job getting me back into my apartment, so I genuinely hate leaving a negative review. My issue is not with the quality of the service, but with how the pricing was handled. My lockout was not urgent. My roommate would have been home within an hour or two to let me in, and I made that clear. I was told that since Brian was already in the area, it would be no problem for him to help me out. After the door was already unlocked, I asked if I could leave him a tip for helping me. That was when I was told the service was $200. Had I been told the price upfront, I would have respectfully declined and simply waited for my roommate. Instead, because the service had already been completed, I felt pressured and obligated to pay for something I never would have agreed to at that price beforehand. As a business owner myself, I believe pricing should always be clearly communicated and agreed upon before a service is performed, especially when the customer has other options. From my perspective, being told the price only after the work was completed felt very misleading and put me in an uncomfortable position. The lesson I will take from this is to always ask for the full price beforehand. The lesson I hope this business takes from the experience is to always be transparent with customers about pricing before completing the work. I genuinely wish Brian and the business the best going forward. If you are considering using them, my advice would simply be to make sure you get the full price and agree to it before any service is performed.

  Damon is a master Locksman. I totally recommend him for anyone who needs help rekeying their house. He was efficient, courteous and kind. Thank you.

  Brian was incredibly helpful. 10/10 recommend! Definitely will call again if we ever need a lock change out again. The store was clean and welcoming! The staff were friendly!
