- BMBuyer MT MTMay 9, 20261.0I used to really enjoy shopping for plants at Lowe’s, but I recently had a very disappointing experience with the return department at the Lowe’s located at 16285 North Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. I returned a small potted plant within the return policy because it was half dead and drying out. During the return, the staff pulled the plant out of the soil to inspect it closely and said there were not “enough roots” to accept it. I was also told they were following “vendor policy,” which was confusing since the plant was purchased directly from Lowe’s. What felt most uncomfortable was not just the return decision, but the way the interaction was handled. The tone and questioning made me feel uncomfortable and treated with suspicion over a very small, straightforward situation. I understand stores have policies, but respectful customer service still matters. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed and hesitant to return to this location.

I found the isle, and the listed item online was not on the shelf. I spent 10 minutes looking. Low and behold 14 of them were on the top shelf above my head. None displayed on the eye level or below. Hmmmmm.... I asked an associate to please grab a ladder and get this item which he did. He said no one ever asks for this item. Probably because it's displayed on the CEILING! Sheesh! This item was higher powered, better quality and 30 dollars off. Just saying, check the website and the top shelf everyone!

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
