    I had a very disappointing experience at At Home today. Initially, a manager helped me carry an end table from the clearance section to the front of the store, which I appreciated. However, things quickly went downhill when the item would not ring up correctly at checkout. The table had been displayed in a clearance area, and when I politely asked if the store would honor the price because it appeared to have been placed incorrectly, the manager responded in a rude and condescending manner. What made the situation even worse was how I was treated while trying to make a purchasing decision. Since the item wasn’t ringing up as expected, I needed a few moments to think about whether I still wanted to purchase it and to search my email for any available coupons. Rather than allowing me a reasonable amount of time, I was told that if I wanted to continue thinking about it, I needed to step aside so they could help other customers. While I understand the need to keep lines moving, the way this was communicated felt dismissive and impatient. When I remained at the register for a moment to finish checking my email and consider the purchase, the cashier suspended my transaction and moved on to another register. The entire interaction made me feel rushed, unwelcome, and as though my business was an inconvenience. Customer service should involve patience, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, neither the manager nor the cashier demonstrated those qualities during my visit. This experience left a very negative impression of the store, and I will think twice before shopping here again.

    Winston was a wonderful help to me today! Made my trip such a great experience - rarely, if ever in the last few years, have I experienced someone with such great customer service! It is a lost art, and he went above and beyond to help me. That man deserves a raise :)

No receipt? No problem!* Returns of unused items in the original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days if you’re an Insider Perks member) with proof of purchase through your Insider Perks account or credit card or receipt and a valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you’ll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s). Christmas merchandise returned after December 25 will be refunded for the current price of the items, even with the original receipt. We do not provide exchanges. You're welcome to return any unwanted product and purchase new items. We are unable to accept returns on mattresses. We are unable to accept returns of pillows and cushions without all of their tags.
