  Great customer service! Setup a new unit today and it was ready to go within the hour. Robert was very nice and professional. Explained everything and helped me out with my next month's payment!!

  We rented a unit at the (8803 E Pecos Road) right off of Ellsworth near Mesa/Queen Creek. Rent was quoted at $130 a month. After 90 days, we received a post card, which at first glance appeared that they were asking us to update our address. Thankfully, I noticed that the postcard was folded and sealed, or I would’ve thrown it away. Inside it was a notice of a rate change. My rates went from $130 a month to $210.12!!! Needless to say, we ended our agreement immediately, and moved out. I was very disappointed, and felt like it was a bait and switch. That is quite a rent hike! I have another storage unit in a different area, and have been there for 4 years. They do an annual rent increase of about 5-10%. Not a good look Extra Storage Space.

  Extremely disappointed with Extra Space Storage. This was a bait-and-switch experience. I rented a unit at the end of Dec 2025. When I signed up, I specifically asked if the rate was an introductory/promo price and was assured it was the regular ongoing rate. Four months later, at the end of April 2026, I was charged double the normal amount. Looking at my invoice on their site confirmed the rate had suddenly been increased 100%. I called the facility and was told this was just a “regular price hike.” When I pointed out that their own terms require 30 days written notice before any increase, they claimed they had sent a postcard (which I never received). After pushing back, they admitted they had no way to issue a refund and could only offer a small credit for the following month. I told them I would be moving out immediately and disputing the charge. They eventually agreed to let me vacate right away and reverse the overcharge. While the staff in the office was polite and tried to help once I was there, that doesn’t make up for the deceptive pricing practices. While I moving out I ran into several people at the facility all talking about the same thing. This definitely appears to be a pattern. I would strongly recommend anyone considering this location to look elsewhere. There is tons of competition in the area. They seem to rely on the inconvenience of moving to trap customers into paying much higher rates after they’re already moved in.

  Service was great, we were able to get a storage with no problems. Even checking out other close locations that had what we were looking for, this center was clean as well.

  Staff is super friendly and the space is clean, which is appreciated. Any time I’ve ever had to rent storage for something, extra space is always my go to.
