I have not used this pest control service in at least three years. Somehow, Aptive recently charged a credit card associated with my old account, even though I have not used this card in years and it has maintained a $0 balance for at least three years.
What is especially concerning is that Aptive did not have my updated card information or authorization to charge this card. Because of this unexpected charge, I also incurred a late fee on a card I otherwise do not use.
I am disputing both the charge and the resulting late fee. After not being a customer for years, I should not have to deal with unauthorized charges and the financial consequences that came with them.
I would not recommend Aptive based on this experience.

Since the beginning it has an awful experience. From the sales representative with lies and from the techs not completing a full service and having to schedule them to come back out and re service the area. I just can’t wait for my contract to be over to switch companies.

They started well at the first appointment, but it all went to hell by the second. I have scheduled my home to be sprayed on Saturday, and a schedule was made for me through December of this year, with my home to be done once a month on a Saturday. By the second appointment, they basically did not show up, and I never had a call or email about they missed the appointment; they showed up to do my home 85 days after the first event. I had even called the office the day of the appointment asking where the tech was, and they said that they were trying to call him, but they got no answer back from him. To make this short, after talking to 3 supervisors on 3 different occasions, and after I was promise that I will never had to call them back and ask them about why they change my schedule without letting me know, or they no showing up, is till today July 28/2026; they had changed my schedule for the 25th to the 23 of this month in which they did not show up or called me at all, and even I waited if they were going to show up on the 25th as promised by supervisor scheduling, it was the same no call no show. I give them 1 star only for the consistency of promises that you get from the supervisors; it's like they are just reading a paper to you, with all the same words.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
