I would strongly caution anyone considering this storage facility to pay close attention to how their pricing works.
I rented my unit for $99 per month, only to receive a notice a few months later that my rate was increasing to $179 per month due to “market conditions.” What makes this explanation difficult to accept is that the company is currently advertising the exact same size unit on its website for less than what they want to charge me as an existing customer.
I contacted the facility and gave them an opportunity to address the issue. The best offer I received was a reduced rate of approximately $150 per month. I was also told that the lower rates are introductory rates used to attract new customers and that they are not the standard rates.
In other words, new customers receive the best pricing while existing customers are subjected to significant rate increases after moving in. Had I known my rate could increase by nearly 80% within a few months, I would have factored that into my decision before renting.
To make matters worse, I received the rate increase notice only a few days before my next billing cycle. When I asked to speak with the General Manager, I was told that was not possible and was instead directed to call the company’s 1-800 number.
This situation could have been handled very differently. A reasonable adjustment and a willingness to work with a long-term customer would have gone a long way. Instead, the experience left me with the impression that the company places a much higher value on attracting new customers than retaining existing ones.
Because of how this matter was handled, I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce so that other consumers can be aware of these business practices and make informed decisions before renting a unit.

The climate is perfect for storage of any kind. It’s clean and my unit was easy to find. I also like the easy access in the back for moving trucks. The hand carts work well and made moving in quick and easy. Thank you!
