Nayo's Nursery is a job training program for people with disabilities run by a non-profit 501(c)3, Santa Cruz Training Programs, Inc. in Nogales, Az. The Nursery is open to the public. The staff is composed of supervisors who train apprentices with disabilities to plant, prepare compost, and prune. They’re training hard so they can find gainful employment in the community. For those sensitive to the use of chemicals, we use all organic materials. It takes longer for our plants to grow but it is safer for workers and customers who are sensitive to chemicals and anyone who has health concerns. We have a variety of plants, from desert plants to tree saplings.
