It's a rip off.

Went to return it, and the manager stated that I couldn’t return the item because it’s been used… I’m sorry that I didn’t like a product from your store, but that shouldn’t be a deterrent for me not to return it? It was a candle and after I burned it in my house and made my house reek and smell… So likely I just wanted to return it and the store manager stated “ you couldn’t have smelled it before you bought it?” Like what? I did smell it before I bought it. It’s ridiculous… I’ve shopped 1 million stores in my lifetime and this is the first store that wouldn’t let me return something just because I used it. This manager stands at the front of the store with her arms folded and doesn’t do shit. Do better Hobby lobby.

- STSamantha ThambyahJun 3, 20263.0I had a weird experience with one of the employees there - older woman. I’m a beginner sewer and needed tips on what cutters to get. I approached one of the sales associate. She looked me up and down, I had to say hello twice. When I asked about a specific product and mentioned I was a beginner, she explained what the product did (a blade for quilted) and that I should buy fabric scissors. When I thought she’d take me over to show which ones, she stopped the convo there. I had to ask her which kind (still didn’t move from her spot), she said “any fabric scissors”. When I went a few feet away from her to look at them, I asked which brand she’d recommend in hopes she’d come over and help. Still didn’t move. She shouted out a brand eventually. I said thank you and she didn’t say anything back. I was with my 10 month old daughter. I couldn’t help but feel unwanted which felt strange to me since I had just moved to the area and felt like everyone was nice. I hate to bring race into this but I am South Asian and felt like she was judging me based on that. I approached this woman because just before me she was helping another customer out (white) and was interactive, happy, and helpful. Based on this experience, I probably won’t be shopping there again and will just stick to Michael’s.
