  Really hate when you actually need some lumber cut! Goodluck finding a qualified associate in the store! First thing they will tell you is that the machine is broken (smh) then the only associate in the store is on a lunch break! NOT THE FIRST TIME... Wish it could be the last time!

  Update for store- not corporate: My husband went into the store for help and they did everything they possibly could with the terrible 48 hour policy corporate has. They went above and beyond to make it right. While I won't make future appliance purchases from Lowe's due to their corporate policy, our local Havasu store will keep our business due to their caring employees. Previous 1 star review for corporate- I will never shop from Lowes again. We just bought a brand new GE washer dryer set that was delivered at the beginning of this week, and it's throwing error codes and stopping at least 50% of the wash cycles. They won't exchange for another brand even though we just received it.Terrible customer care. They charge for a new unit and you end up paying full price to have to go through the manufacturer for a refurbished product. I would have paid to have my old unit fixed instead of buying a new set if I had wanted a refurbished item. So disappointed in Lowes; they have lost a customer for life.

  I stopped shopping at Lowe's years ago in Salt Lake City because the experience was always the same: no one greeted you, no one offered help, and no one seemed to care whether you were there or not. Today in Lake Havasu, I didn't go to Lowe's to give them another chance. I went because they were closer. I needed a breaker, and Google Shopping showed the exact same part at the exact same price at both Lowe's and Home Depot. Since Lowe's was closer to my house, it made sense to stop there first. What happened? The exact same thing I experienced years ago in Utah. Three employees were standing near the entrance when I walked in. Not one looked up. Not one said hello. They appeared more interested in their phones than the customers walking through the door. I found the electrical aisle on my own, but couldn't locate the exact breaker I needed. I looked for help and couldn't find anyone available. On the way out, I passed more employees, including one overseeing the registers. No greeting. No "Did you find what you needed?" No "Can I help you?" Nothing. I left and drove to Home Depot. Before I even reached the electrical aisle, multiple employees greeted me. One employee confirmed I was in the correct aisle and offered assistance if I needed it. Another asked whether I had found everything I was looking for. The difference was immediate. The interesting part is that both stores sell the same products. Lumber is lumber. Electrical parts are electrical parts. Tools, hardware, and appliances can be purchased from a dozen different places in Lake Havasu. What separates one store from another is service. People don't expect to be treated like royalty. We just want basic acknowledgment. A hello when we walk in. A willingness to help if we need it. A simple question when we leave. Whether it's a grocery store, restaurant, gas station, car wash, or home improvement store, customers want to feel like their business matters. I ended up buying the exact same breaker for the exact same price at Home Depot. The difference was that Home Depot made the experience easy and welcoming, while Lowe's made me feel like I was inconveniencing people simply by walking into the store. The funniest part happened afterward. As I was leaving Home Depot, I recognized a couple walking in. They were the same couple I had seen at Lowe's earlier. We made eye contact and just kind of laughed because we all knew exactly what had happened. They had apparently reached the same conclusion I did and ended up at the same place for the same reason. After experiencing the same thing years apart in both Utah and Arizona, it's difficult to believe this is just a coincidence. I don't know whether it's a management issue, a hiring issue, or a company culture issue, but the result is the same. When two stores sell the same products at the same prices, service becomes the product. And in my experience, Lowe's continues to miss that point.

  One of the best Lowe’s with friendly staff, especially the manager Chace who helped us. Always have a great deals on appliances and we keep buying a new one, even when we don’t need one 🤣
