    We are flipping a home in Phoenix and needed some paint immediately. We called and talked to Mark at your Northern Ave store in Glendale in the paint department and by the time we got there, HE HAD THE WHOLE 5 GALLON OF PAINT DONE! WOWEEEEEE! He was so friendly, fast, kind and knowledgeable! So grateful! We have a Lowe's card but didn't have it with us but Bree came to our rescue and helped us find it in your system and got us out the door in no time flat! AMAZING!     My mom, who's in her 80s and just lost her husband last month after caring for him while he passed away from cancer, just paid $250 for a microwave and $150 to have it installed. The installation fee should be a percent of the price of the appliance when it's a lower cost. She was told the installers would haul the old microwave away with the installation fee. She was given a 4 hour window from 1:00-5:00. Although the installers were very efficient and friendly (it took less than 10 minutes to remove the old microwave and install the new one), they were late, and there were no phone calls to give an estimated time of arrival or to advise when they were on their way. Four hours literally ruins half your day as you wait, expecting them at any minute. After the installation, she was told that they didn't have an order to haul the old microwave away, so my mom called Lowes. She spoke to the person who sold the microwave and reminded her that she was told the installation fee included hauling the old microwave away. Eventually my mom was transferred to a manager who told her that if she wanted the microwave hauled away, she would have had to pay another $50, so Lowe's wanted $200 to spend less than 10 minutes installing a $250 microwave and hauling the old one away. This is highway robbery, especially in these financially difficult times, and for a widow who is now down to one income. What horrible customer service. I will encourage my mom to cut up her Lowe's card and complain to the Better Business Bureau, and I will continue to comment on various social media sites. Shame on Lowe's and their manager.
