I had an issue with an order, and my experience with Tristian (she refused to provide her last name) was extremely disappointing. She was rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to help. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, she refused and told me that she was "the boss." At that point, I had no choice but to call the store directly to get assistance.
Thankfully, Steve Phillips completely turned the situation around. With the help of his manager, Chris, they quickly resolved my issue and treated me with professionalism, courtesy, and genuine concern. They are true assets to this company and clearly understand what great customer service looks like.
I hope Tristian receives additional customer service training, as her approach was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the company. If she is going to continue working in a customer-facing role, significant improvement is needed.A big thumbs-up to Steve Phillips and Chris. They know how to take care of customers, and their excellent service deserves to be recognized.

We've purchased a number of pieces from AFW (Two living room sets, three recliners, and a mattress) over the years, and overall we've had a great experience. Both living room sets have held up well for many years, and our mattress has been comfortable and worth the investment.
One thing I really appreciate is that the sales staff isn't pushy. They let you browse and make decisions at your own pace instead of following you around the store, which makes shopping much more enjoyable.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of a disappointing delivery experience. The delivery team arrived on time and got everything inside without issue, but one of the recliners was placed right up against the new sofa. I simply asked if they could help scoot it over a few inches since it's quite heavy. The delivery person told me he was only paid to unwrap and place the furniture, and that if I wanted help moving it, it would cost me $40.
I wasn't asking for furniture to be rearranged throughout the house or moved to another room. The room was already prepared, and it just needed a slight adjustment. I declined and waited for my husband to move it later. It was just disappointing because it felt like a situation where a little helpfulness and customer service would have gone a long way.
That said, the quality of the furniture and the overall shopping experience have been good enough that I would still shop here again.
