Terrible store, scheduled a carpet measure, got a text for 11-1 and they never showed or communicated. Called store and left message, nobody called. Then called again to talk to a manager, left on hold 30 minutes, nobody ever followed up! Big Box customer service at its finest.

Why even pay employees? They just stand around and don't help. You don't have checkout lanes open, except for self ones. 2 people with Lowe's vests on by the self checkout on their phones. The only words were upon leaving, have a nice day. They don't help. They don't do anything except walk around the stores. The only person doing anything is the paint people. What a joke.

This was one of the most frustrating appliance purchases I have experienced.
I initially tried to purchase the Whirlpool range online using an Amex Rewards card, but Lowe’s checkout would not process it because of the way Lowe’s stores card information. After contacting both Lowe’s and Amex, I had to go to the store to complete the purchase. That took more than 30 minutes in store, with employees repeatedly trying to charge me for installation that was already included. I was also charged for delivery even though delivery was included with the online offer.
The first stove was delivered August 22. The installer initially questioned whether I wanted the anti-tip safety device installed rather than simply installing it, and did not properly test the oven door before leaving. He then asked me to give the installation a rating of at least 8 because it was important to his job.
I soon discovered that the oven door would not stay fully open. Lowe’s arranged an exchange, and a replacement was delivered August 25. The replacement had the exact same door problem. Despite that, this installation team asked me for a rating of 10.
At that point I decided I did not want this model at all. Making matters worse, the delivery team did not take the original stove as they were supposed to. I then had to make several more calls to Lowe’s to get someone to come back and remove it. The return was finally processed August 31.
The original purchase totaled $1,226.93, but Lowe’s ultimately refunded only $1,130.82, leaving me $96.11 out of pocket.
Between troubleshooting the failed online purchase, contacting Lowe’s and Amex, going to the store, waiting while employees struggled with the transaction, two deliveries/installations, diagnosing the same defect on two ranges, arranging the exchange, and making repeated calls to get the stove picked up and my money refunded, I spent many hours dealing with problems that should never have occurred.
Two stoves with the same defect, poor installation follow-through, repeated billing and pickup problems, $96.11 still out of pocket, and many hours of wasted time made this an extremely disappointing Lowe’s experience.
