  Had exceptional service today thanks to Ruben. He immediately asked how we were and if we needed help with anything. I wanted the giant skeleton and the only one left was the display. Not only did he speak to his manager about selling it to us, he personally broke down the display and helped load it. On top of that he ended up getting us a HUGE discount on it and a free, not so cheap drill bit set for signing up for a Lowe's credit card. We have been not so keen on going to Lowe's in the past because help wasn't the easiest to find but after this trip, we will continue to shop here. From Ruben, to the manager, to the cashier it was a really pleasant experience.

  This Lowe's is got to be the worst for customer service. Not to mention they lie like a rug. I placed a lumber delivery online and received an order date. Come that date, I wait all day till 4 pm to receive a text that my order will not be ready till 3 days later. That day comes, and I receive nothing. So at 4 pm I call in person to cancel the order. The woman i spoke to Veronica tells me she is sorry I received no contact and my order is still in prep, but I would have to call the store to cancel as the order was coming from them. So i call store and spoke to someone that would not give me her name and she told me my order is on the truck but they can't go out in bad weather, so it will be awhile. I ask what bad weather its sunny out. And told her to cancel my order unless i can get a time frame as I have already wasted 2 days waiting for a delivery. I ask to speak to a manager and she transfers me to some guy Danny who claims to be the store manager. I explain to him what's going on and he says i cant cancel the order if its out for delivery. I said its not out for delivery its still shows as its in prep, and I told him the girl who transferred me said it was on the truck but could not go out in bad weather. He tells me to hold on so he can call his driver. He comes back and tells me that his driver tried to come out to my area this morning, but the roads were muddy. I said muddy, whereas I live off a paved road. And then I tell him it's funny I received 3 different answers from 3 different people, and the online order shows my order is still in preparation. So someone in that store is a liar. He insists the lumber is on the truck, and his driver did not want to get stuck. I refused to argue with this guy. I asked him when my order was going to arrive to give me a date, and he said they would have to reschedule. He could not give me a date. So I canceled and asked for a cancellation number, which he said he could not give me. Lesson learned to never order lumber from Lowes. This guy pissed me off with his lies so much I will avoid this store like the plague. I will either go to Home Depot, or if I must go to Lowe's, I will drive out of my way to another Lowe's just to avoid this place.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Lowe’s during a blinds project. When we first went into the store and received the quote, everything seemed great. The quote appeared to include everything we needed, so we decided to move forward and paid for the project. Unfortunately, once the payment was made, the service completely changed. The representative who originally provided the quote became extremely difficult to reach. I called multiple times and also contacted customer service several times, only to be transferred from one department to another without getting a clear answer or resolution. We are now missing a piece that we were told was included, and Lowe’s is now saying that it was not included in the original quote. This is incredibly frustrating, especially after paying for the project based on the information provided by their representative. The lack of communication and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Be very careful and make sure every single item is clearly documented in writing before paying. Based on our experience, I would seriously consider taking your project to another company where you can get better communication and follow-through.
