I’m a die hard Lowes shopper over Home Depot but I won’t be getting paint or stain from the Rogers Arkansas location anymore. This is the 3rd time I’ve been mansplained to by the paint manager. He has stepped in and stopped the awesome young person helping me only to tell me how to do my job when I owned a painting business for 20 years. Today he wouldn’t give a paint stick to a male customer even though he bought paint the day before and was spending several hundred today. And he was really rude to him I front of myself and other customers.

My wife and I bought our first home last year and purchased an LG washer/dryer from Lowe’s during our first week in the house.
The washer has been excellent. Our regret is choosing Lowe’s installation service (performed by a third-party contractor, Maersk).
The installers were in and out in less than 10 minutes. About six months later, my wife pulled the washer away from the wall to retrieve something and discovered that the drywall behind it was covered in mold. We later learned there had been a slow leak from the washer’s water supply connection. The leak had gradually soaked the drywall, resulting in $2,500 of mold remediation and repairs.
Had the installers taken a minute to verify there were no leaks before leaving, this likely could have been caught immediately.
We filed a claim with Lowe’s and Maersk, but it was denied. We were told we should have discovered the slow leak sooner and that the issue was our shutoff valve. However, the connection had never leaked before the installation, and the installers were the only people who had handled that plumbing. On discovering sooner- how many people inspect behind their washer frequently?
LG makes a great washer. Based on our experience, I would recommend purchasing from a retailer that stands behind its installation services and takes better care of customers when something goes wrong.

If i could rate any lower than one star I would. I researched and knew what I needed for brick fireplace; I only needed help finding it in the store. I asked the older man at the paint counter for help. He lead me over to wall paint. He obviously was clueless, yet was insistent that would be what I needed. Needless to say I did not purchase stain or paint that day.

Currently finishing 10th week with a broken refrigerator under warranty. Both the fridge and the warranty were sold by this store. 2 different repair companies have been to my house a total of 5 times. Honestly, if we calculated the cost of the warranty, the time away from work to meet with repair service providers, and the cost of ice for the ice chest every day for 10 weeks... It would have been more cost efficient to not buy the warranty and push the broken fridge out of the house the day it broke and went somewhere else to buy a new one.
