I was charged $9.99 for the lock that they gave but and told me that when I return the lock they will refund me the $9.99.
Fast forward now when it is the time to return the lock they have simply refused to take the lock back and refund me the money.
After explaining what was promised to me at the time of order i was told they will take lock back and refund only if I have never used the lock. This is absurd.
Uhaul is much better than this. They have better rates, and they even give first month free if you rent the trailer.
Unfortunate. but lesson learnt

I highly recommend Extra Space Storage on Pepperell Parkway in Opelika! Tracy has provided outstanding customer service every time I've needed assistance. She is always kind, professional, and willing to help.
I recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas and completely forgot to make my storage payment. When I called, I missed her because she was on her way to the bank, but she returned my call right away and even told me she would call me back after she got back to the office to help me with my account and explain my options regarding the late fees.
One thing I really appreciate is that they value communication. If you're honest and keep in touch with them, they truly try to work with you. Tracy has always treated me with respect, and her willingness to help has given me peace of mind. That level of customer service is hard to find these days.
