I know it’s just one person but the chick making key copies today is RUDE and condescending. She was standing at the end of the isle chatting up a customer and acted out out that we asked her for help. I believe I’ll be going to Home Depot from now on. But it’s been a long time coming anyway. This chick was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

My experience renting a carpet cleaner from the Lowe’s on I-65 Service Road was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.
As a first-time renter, I expected someone to explain the process. Instead, the associate barely helped me and seemed more interested in her phone. She never explained which cleaning solution to buy or that I needed a separate hose attachment.
The first machine I received was filthy underneath and covered in hair and debris, which ended up all over my car. I returned it and received another machine.
After driving to my late aunt’s house to clean her carpets, I realized the hose attachment was missing because no one told me I needed one. I drove back to the store again, got the hose, drove back to the house, hooked everything up, and then discovered the replacement machine didn’t even turn on.
That meant a third trip back to Lowe’s just to get a refund.
To make matters worse, I’m currently recovering from a knee injury and using crutches. What should have been a simple one-day project turned into two days because of dirty equipment, missing parts, and a defective machine.
I was cleaning my aunt’s home after her passing because it was one of the last things she wanted done. Instead of helping me accomplish that, this experience added unnecessary stress during an already difficult time.
The next morning I went to the Lowe’s on Schillinger Road and Airport Boulevard, and the difference was night and day. The associate there explained everything, made sure I had the correct attachment, showed me the proper cleaning solution, and provided excellent customer service.
This review is specifically for the I-65 Service Road location. Management needs to do a better job inspecting rental equipment, training associates, and treating customers with respect. I will not rent equipment from this location again.

I was hurt in store. Manager wouldn't take a statement. Ended up with a hairline fracture cheekbone. Bruised whole side of face and eye so I will live but Manager was terrible. Loved the workers they were great Manager sucks

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
