I called this Lowe’s (Homewood, Al) to ask about a certain refrigerator and was put on hold and after 10 minutes I decided to drive to the store, still on hold waiting for someone to talk to. When I got to the store, I was still on hold. It was pouring down rain. When I walked in two employees were standing at the desk, leaned over just talking. I passed by them. They did not speak. I passed by five more employees. They did not speak. I walked to the back of the store where the refrigerators were, still on hold, and finally found a gentleman walking by and asked if he could help me. I showed him my phone and told him that I was on hold and had been on hold for almost 30 minutes and he did not apologize or anything. But at least he did help me find the refrigerator that I was looking for, but that was not his department so he took me over to another lady who was sitting at the desk on her cell phone. He told her I was interested in looking at a refrigerator and she said is she gonna buy it or she just wanna look at it, while I was standing there in front of her. I told her I would like to look at it before I bought it. I was still on hold and showed her that I was on hold with the store, no apology, no explanation of anything. After she walked me over to the refrigerator, I asked her a couple of questions about it and she said she didn’t know. I said, oh I’m sorry, is this not your department she said yes, then she said do you wanna buy it or not? This is not my first experience with horrible customer service at Lowe’s. I’m assuming that it is required to be rude to be able to work there? They had the same refrigerator at Home Depot for cheaper so I will be buying it there today. Her name was Shaniqua or something like that.

I’m only giving this experience two stars I would give it zero but the lady at the desk we’re trying to help so I want to give them credit for that. I purchased a grill online Monday. It was not very clear because it says free assembly that it would not come as simple so I missed clicking that box I went to pick up my grill. They said it was ready. They rolled out a grill in a box so we returned that grill and bought another one with the instructions to put it together. I also bought a cover for it and was instructed to take the cover with me so after hearing nothing all day and unsuccessful at reaching anyone on the telephone I decided to drive to the Lowe’s store guess what my grill was still not ready and there’s no explanation or an anticipated time for pick up so now I’ve made two trips. I was kind of disgusted because it’s the second night in a row. I had plans to grill at home and I’ve had to make other arrangements. It’s also the second day in a row I have borrowed a friend Truck for no reason I wanted to just return it, but I have the cover at home so no matter what I have to come back it’s just very disappointing. You can never really find anyone to help you in a Lowe’s store anymore nor can you find any sort of Management it’s like they’re all gone and everybody’s just a robot taking care of business. I don’t know it’s not the place that used to be but no Home improvement stores are anymore. I should’ve gone to Ace Hardware or somebody more customer focused and I’m sure this wouldn’t have happened. There are other places that pay more attention. Ace Hardware does tractor supply does too. Prices at Lowe’s are better but you get what you pay for in so many ways I’m gonna anticipate that my grill is not even going to be properly assembled when I get it and I will have to fix something. Thanks for listening to your unsatisfied customer today. $500 is it very much money today but it was a lot for me today to want to put it towards a grill for a special occasion.

This is specific to Lowe’s delivery. The night before my delivery, Lowe’s canceled a large portion of my order because it wasn’t in stock at the specific store my delivery was shipping from. They offered me to cancel the order completely and push back my delivery for over a week or pay another delivery fee for the boards that they canceled. 👎 I’m just blown away that they don’t have a system in place to manage order fulfillment.

I went to this Lowe's and they demonstrated EXTREME false advertising. There was a clear sign that stated clearance for $7 but when rung it up on their hand held it was 2 cent! Okay, 2 cent is wild for an item originally priced for $38. HOWEVER, if there is a huge sign that says clearance for $7, why is that not honored?If you go here and see clearance you may want to assume its false.
