I ordered a washer and dryer from the Anniston location online but somehow it made it to the Gadsden location. I received a email stating a delivery on a Friday so I called and spoke with a person at the Pro Desk to asked if I change it to a Saturday or a Sunday delivery. He gave me Sunday and said the window will be from 8a-8p. I waited the whole day Sunday until 5:46pm to call to check on the delivery. This person I spoke with was extremely rude and said they do not delivery on Sunday and I asked why the person scheduled me on Sunday. He said, he will be discussing with that person when he arrive to work why did he schedule me for delivery. I then asked, why I did not receive a follow up call to correct the mistake instead me waiting the entire day for nothing! He then said we will schedule you for Monday morning delivery. I told him I have to work and he immediately said call us back when I'm ready for delivery and then hung the phone up in my face. I called the next morning and spoke with another gentleman at the Pro Desk and asked him can I schedule the delivery for Thursday preferably late evening between 4p-close. He said, let me get your number and I will email the delivery department and once I get a response I will call you. By now, you should know, he never called me. I called (Pro Desk) today (Thursday) to follow up on the delivery and the gentleman told me it will be delivered between 9a-1p. I told him I can't get off work and make it home by that time and I suppose to have a evening delivery. He radio a female whose over the delivery department to asked what the her's extension she responded sarcastically, why do you need my extension. He told her he had a customer on the phone and had concerns about the delivery. He then told me she would be coming to his location and placed the call on hold and then the line went DEAD! I called back to Pro Desk and he told me she said there's nothing she could do! I asked can I speak to that department and he supposedly transferred the call but the line went DEAD AGAIN! I then call corporate to speak with the customer complaint department to voice my concerns and advise I would like to have a District or Regional Manager to give me a call. She stated, only thing she could do is document the incident but I will not be getting a call back! Lowe's does not care about communication, customer service, or professionalism. If you read all the reviews at the store you could see pieces are broken in the Customer Service and the Professional Department. I will be taking my business to HOME DEPOT!!

Don’t call this store! They will keep you on hold for more than 45 minutes and not answer you. Also, when they tell you to call the 800 number to escalate your case, it does NOTHING for you. Save your time

Lowe’s Delivery: absolute nightmare! I ordered LVL 7 days from today (05/07/2026) it is now the 27 of May. I was told that the delivery was here at my house. Even though I didn’t see it, and that the only reason I saw a delay through the app was because the driver was having trouble with the system and he couldn’t update it. After a 40 minute conversation of me telling them that my order was not here. I was told I would receive a phone call from the driver. He never called. I called again, and someone from the customer service said that my order was in fact never delivered because no one was home and they would have needed a signature. So again I get told someone would call me, and again no call. I call back and then they tell me that it was ordered and they have it as priority. It is now the 20 days since I ordered and 7 days since it was supposed to have been delivered. Today as I wrote this review I have sat on the phone on hold for 20 minutes! I have tried to be very polite to everyone I speak to and have refrained from posting this review because I feel like no one gains anything from this sort of thing. Please consider ordering materials from somewhere else.
