  If we could give Delaney's....10 STARS We would!!!...lt was our Best moving experience EVER! We highly recommend Delaney's Movers in Gadsden, Alabama. We live in Grayson GA & we were moving to Gadsden Al.... We already had two other companies that gave us higher quotes, attitudes & a Denial of "we don't move safe's" from Atlanta... So we were delighted to find Delaney's & we were so glad we gave our NEW Local moving folks OUR Business. We received a Much better quote, Professionalism, they arrived 15 minutes earlier than what they predicted (and they were up by 5 AM Alabama time to drive to ATLANTA (Grayson GA) another 3 hours, then load up TWO full Trucks by 3 &1/2 hours and then head back to Our forever home in Alabama another 3 hours later-then told us they would see us at 7 AM the next morning to Unload ALL they had packed the day before in GA. We watched Teamwork, them being careful, Hard working, friendly guys... and with My wife's precious 6 GLASS Curio Cabinets (that she was on edge about moving & my Safe and Big Green Egg Grill)... We can report that NOTHING was broke. We felt we had the "Dream Team of Movers" with- Owner Wes Moss who called to follow-up, and his incredible hard workers (Especially NOTED in this Southern Heat and Humidity... with their busiest time of the year for moving & add a Pandemic on top of this) Well, we can only say that what we saw was - a Company in the Business of Moving and Not breaking-except breaking Our records- really, they Never complained & they ALL went above and beyond to take good care of us and our items... Thanks again guys to: DeAngelo, Dustin, Willie, Jimmy, Jermichael, Julius ( and even Charles, who came the next day with these others) to unload it all at our new home by 7AM -again, timely-even a few minutes earlier than stated- after ALL they had packed and drove from Atlanta GA the day before..if THAT isn't service, well, you can call my first two quotes and see what you get. We hope we never have to move again, as Gadsden Al. is our Retirement-for-ever home, but if we did have to move again, you can bet on who we will be using. "Delaney's Moving Company" who we found to be: DEPENDABLE, DEDICATED, DELIGHTFUL & 'Da Best in Our books.....Thank you again, we Appreciate you & We are Grateful for folks like you. The Oltman's, Bob & Becky -from Life is Good in GA To Sweet Home Alabama!

  Careless, Unprofessional! If you value your property, don't let these people move it for you. I really don't won't to give them 1 star but apparently I have to in order to post this review. The movers were 2.5 hours late on a Saturday and once they arrived they weren't happy to be there. This was a 3 man moving crew and 2 of them were not experienced movers as I was asked about how to turn some of the furniture to get it through a doorway. The 3rd guy was supervising the other 2 men but you can't do that properly and be on your cell phone the entire time loading a truck. I moved less than a mile across town and when my furniture was being unloaded, I begin to notice scratches, scuffs, dings, a tare on the back of a leather recliner, etc. I would say that 80% of my furniture is now damaged. The owner/manager of Delaney's Moving was contacted while the movers were still present and he wasn't willing to come to my home(about a 30 minute drive) then or even schedule a time the next day or any day since the move to inspect the damages. I filed a compliant with the BBB and Delaney's Moving never responded to the BBB nor have they ever contacted me for any kind of resolve regarding these damages within a 9 month period. I have attached pictures of some of the damage but due to the number of damages I'm not sure that I can attach all the pictures on this website.

  These guys are great. We had them move my mom from a storage unit at Southtowne Mini Warehouse in a climate control unit to her new home. The moving crew showed up on time and were very professional. The were respectful of her things and had her moved in no time at all. We have been very pleased with this moving company and highly recommend them. Thanks again for your good service at a reasonable price.

  These guys are the best! Have used them many times for many moves and they are the consummate professionals! The prices are more than reasonable and I will use them for every move in the future

  Unprofessional behavior. 2.5 hrs late both says they worked. One of their works blatantly said "this was my day off and I am not doing this" to us. At one point they left without even informing us that they were leaving. Workers did not put items where instructed. Consistently complained about where we asked them to place items. Damaged outside stairs with their vehicle. Damaged a nightstand in the move(though they say they are going to get it fixed). Overall, they did not bring peace of mind to our move. In fact, we had to micromanage them to ensure that they were working instead of smoking around our furniture or talking on their phones. They ended up billing twice as much as was quoted. Not happy with the service at all.
