Clean and organized! All staff had smiles and so many were willing to help before I even had to ask. Chrissy went above and beyond! You can tell she really enjoys helping customers find exactly what they are looking for and that they are happy with their purchase. Overall, all the staff were so supportive and willing to help. Kudos also to upper management for hiring these dedicated people and encouraging your staff to make this the best Lowe's store I have ever shopped at.

The place is a joke. They hire useless staff. I was in there today for 25 minutes standing at the pressure washers walking back and forth to customer service trying to get somebody to unlock them so I could buy one. After three attempts with customer service with no luck, I grabbed the first employee I found walking around by there and told her the situation and she proceeded to try to brute force the lock combination several times before I decided enough is enough and I'm taking my business to home Depot. Absolutely useless customer service.

I have been meaning to write this review, but have been so busy. However, I must let you know about the behavior of a Lowe's employee at your Fort Payne location. His name is David, and he first helped me buy an outdoor rug and then picked out a matching outdoor sun umbrella and chair cushions for my porch chairs. At my request, David exchanged umbrellas several times; he never complained. He exhibited professionalism throughout. In fact, he made jokes that caused me to laugh. I expended a lot more money with Lowe's on April 24, 2026, at store #1786 because David made sure I was able to locate the things I was looking for. I hope Lowe's employs more people like David. Because of him, I will no longer travel to other home improvement stores as I now know I can count on people like David to provide excellent customer service. PS: David, I have not forgotten about those pork chops you wanted:)

I went in looking for security cameras talked to a lady very sweet and helpful she sent me to isle 8 went there and was looking asked for help opening the case about 10-15 minutes went by seen some more found some I wanted while still waiting on help and I seen the lady I needed helping helping someone else when asked for assistance she preceeded to tell me that 2 other people were ahead of me.....excuse me I been waiting between 30-40 + minutes for help. I left without my purchase I wanted and needed.

I called to find out if they had Boston ferns out yet, and of corse I found myself talking to a robot, I got information on everything but Boston ferns. A started asking to speak to an associate well you can imagine how that went. After at least 10 minutes I got a “customer rep”, I had better luck with the robot. I wish I’d ask her name so I could file a formal complaint. Out of frustration I hung up after 20 minutes. I could have drove there. B

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
