I only go to Lowes for small pick ups lumber. If it's a lot more lumber I go to Home Depot simply because their employees will ask you if you need help. They will pick out your materials and push your cart to check out then load it and tie it down. Lowes will probably do it if you can find someone to help you. Lowes materials are just as good as Home Depot but services are not.

My visit today made me feel some type of way. I was by myself and was walking around trying to find a specific item. I was never greeted by the employees and I even had one employee walk past me without even saying anything but he greeted the couple behind me. I mean where is the customer service and the acknowledgement ? Safe to say I walked right out when it happened. I NEVER had this experience at Home Depot. Everybody should treat everybody the same. Very disappointed.

My recent washer and dryer order and the delivery experience associated with it. Additionally not having and email, when the AI 24/7 chat doesn’t work and having me wait on hold for 40 min isn’t awesome.

The original delivery date (27May26) passed without any communication, call, text, or email from Lowe’s or the delivery team advising us of a delay. We only discovered the issue after the delivery window had already expired and I contacted customer service myself the following morning.
I understand delays can happen. My primary concern is the complete lack of communication and the resulting inconvenience to my family.
As an active-duty service member, I specifically coordinated time away from work around the scheduled delivery and installation window. Additionally, because our existing dryer failed unexpectedly, my family is now without a functioning washer and dryer for approximately a week while waiting on the rescheduled delivery date (31MAY26).
We selected Lowe’s specifically for the convenience of delivery, installation, and haul away service, so this situation has been frustrating and disruptive.
I would appreciate if Lowe’s could review the situation and consider an appropriate resolution, such as:
* prioritized or expedited delivery if possible,
* a partial discount/refund related to delivery or installation,
* or store credit/goodwill compensation for the inconvenience.
Again, I understand delays happen, but better communication would have significantly improved the experience.
